1. C'est 12 ou 24 mots, dans l'ordre exact (norme BIP39). Qui les a contrôle tous les comptes dérivés. Pas de « demi-accès ».
2. Ne la partage jamais. Pas avec un « support », pas avec un ami, pas avec un site qui te promet de « vérifier » ton wallet. Personne de légitime ne te la demandera.
3. Zéro copie numérique. Pas de capture d'écran, pas de photo, pas de cloud, pas de notes sur le téléphone. Le cloud, c'est la faille classique.
4. Écris-la à la main, vérifie l'orthographe et l'ordre, range-la hors ligne (papier ou plaque métal). Deux copies séparées valent mieux qu'une seule au même endroit.
5. Tu ne la saisis que sur ton appareil de confiance, pendant une vraie restauration. Jamais sur un site web, jamais dans une app ou un DM qui te le demande.
Depuis 2019, une leçon : dès qu'une phrase a été montrée à l'écran ou photographiée, considère-la compromise et déplace tes fonds vers un nouveau wallet.
À retenir : ta seed phrase n'est pas un mot de passe à mémoriser, c'est le double de tes clés. Hors ligne, à toi seul, sinon plus rien n'est à toi.
