New episode!
@DaxMcCarty11 gives some perspective on the highs and lows of D.C. United's season, especially over the last month.
What's real, what's not, and where the club can upgrade for a post-WC playoff run.

New episode!
@dcunited MF Matti Peltola on his strong start, set piece defending, and Silvan Hefti blatantly copping his style.

A 2010 born W/CAM.
I've seen Avilez play a number of times and he's legit. Probably too much to expect he'll be a contributor next season but definitely a prospect to get excited about.
A new chapter begins for @DCUyouth standout Oscar Avilez.
The 15-year-old forward has signed his first professional contract with D.C. United as the 22nd Homegrown Player in club history 🖤❤️ @TheEventsDC

New ep! @MLSist and I unpack the Ally Mackay news and his rumored replacement as CSO of D.C. United.
Come for Pablo's witty cynicism, stay for my unhinged MLSNP rants.

MLS Summer Transfer Window opens Thursday.
No one knows what DCU will do (maybe not even the club), but what CAN they do?
@MarcMachado8 joins me to discuss DCU's cap situation and where all the winter GAM went.

DCU officially announce the changes hinted at this spring.
This structure is very in line with most MLS teams so the club isn't being cheap here.
As always, this will die or thrive based on Levien's commitment to funding a long term plan.
For the next generation 🖤❤️
D.C. United has restructured its Academy to elevate player development across the region:
•Full-time residency for three age groups, with pro-level training, education support, and scholarships
•New U14 regional pool model
•Stronger first-team integration — a clearer, more direct path to pro
•Expanded access and support — including online schooling and financial aid
Built to unlock the full potential of the DMV’s rising stars ✨
I'm serious when I say the only difference between NSH and DCU is Hany.
Both are stocked with "helper" type players but NSH has someone who can create and finish chances while DC have no one with any semblance of creativity or end product.
The fun part of this is that 3 kids from this Philly team are from the D.C. United youth territory.
So that's awesome.
Philadelphia Union are in their bag. So deep they found the U15 MLS NEXT Cup championship silverware🎒🏆

It's never "fun" discussing the state of DCU but I had a fun time chopping it up with the
@cincysoccertalk about this weekend's match.
JERSEY SWAP: We chat with Gregory Roche from @PitchPass about soccer in The District. What needs to change at D.C. United for the team to consider playoffs? How does he see them performing against #AllForCincy Saturday?
And we might talk about an ex...

Not much discuss about the on field product, so @MLSist and I chopped up the #LevienOut talk and whether it will change the club's fortunes.
Always an adventure when Pablo joins the show and this episode is no different.

Someone for DCU fans to dream on:
2010 born winger/CAM Oscar Avilez is legit. He's been the clear best player for two '09 age matches at MLS next Flex. Getting minutes with the U18s.
Skillful and smooth

New episode!
Is D.C. United's Academy still free?
@cboehm joins the show to discuss a report from @USSoccerColl last week that DCU is changing it's Academy model.

New ep featuring the @washingtonpost 's @SoccerInsider discussing the likelihood of on field reinforcements before the end of the season (and when to expect them), if the owners are aware of the restlessness of the fanbase, and more.

Tonight's "standard bearer" for the DCUvCIN match is...the guy who got married (and divorced) from the DC edition of Love Is Blind.
Tradition.
Pirani and Leal run into each other and kill a DCU movement.
Pirani and Rowles run into each other and give Josef a free look at goal.
Sums it all up.
Sorry, I was participating in a book club and missed DCU'S first half...
Who should I be mad at for this scoreline?
I read stuff like this and I wonder...
Could D.C. United beat a team of players who passed through DC but are still in MLS?
With #FCCincy still thin at centerback, new left wingback Brad Smith provides some added cover on defense. He's made a quick transition with the team & could play a role Saturday against New England. More on his arrival with FCC and a look at the matchup. queencitypress.net/2025/04/0…
