No idea where the idea started that Pirates fans like having Bob Nutting as their owner but sure 😂

Crazy to think LA had a chance when Josh Allen signed a record breaking 6-year $330 million extension to stay in the tropical metropolis in…
Buffuckinglo, New York.
Population - 278,000.

He leaves out that, in a capped state the Dodgers now only have $50 to spend instead of $5,000.
They can sign Ohtani for $30, but they can’t sign Glasnow for $10 and Snell for $10. It limits how many star players they can have.

These guys love creating straw men to dunk on

It cracks me up that this article basically says “Skenes could be pretty expensive in his second arbitration year”.
And that’s it. The rest is an opinion.
Paul Skenes salary will be out of the Pirates comfort zone after next season and he will likely be playing somewhere else in 2028, per @JPerrotto

“SPOILER: If MLB had a salary cap, players still wouldn’t choose to live in Pittsburgh.”

I’m really getting tired of these fans coming after us Pirates fans saying we are “brainwashed” by Bob Nutting.
Do they not know we can’t stand him as an owner? Like this fanbase literally paid for an airplane to fly over PNC Park during the game saying “sell the team”
If anything, our fanbase is more loyal to this team wanting them to be good than any other fan base out there.
If these anti-salary cap fans want to enlighten us on how we can get our owner to “sell” or “spend more” then please by all means tell us this magical way we apparently don’t know.
Since we all know you guys don’t have an actual answer, here is the truth… a salary cap/floor is the only way our owner will spend more or sell the team to an owner that actually will.
Hope that helps the uneducated fans out there that don’t have answers but love to call us names because they know their big market teams are about to turn into the New York Jets of baseball

Anytime a semi-decent player is on a smaller market team, you get dozens of comments from fans acting like they're pre-ordering the player.
If I got a dollar for everytime I saw a comment saying "Future Dodger/Yankee/Met" on a decent Pirates player, I'd have enough money to buy the Pirates for 3x their current valuation.
All I'm saying is that I get why Pirates fans are lashing out against big market fans. Antics like this happen in baseball alot more frequently than other sports.

Steelers deserve to lose to be honest.
Mike McCarthy and Aaron Rodgers should be embarrassed for what they did that last drive at the 3 yard line.
Selfish to want to throw the ball there. Should have gave to Warren every time.

it’s always “oh they’d never live in Pittsburgh” and it’s clear they’ve never actually been to the city and still think it’s the same smog covered steel city from the 1950s

It must be exhausting to be anti-salary-cap. There are only so many insults you can use until they stop making sense.
"Your owner doesn't care!"
Yeah, that's kinda why we want to force him to spend.
"Your team sucks!"
Maybe making them spend will help.
"You love your owner and want to defend him!"
Uhhhhh ????
