Sadly, Exchange Art is sunsetting.
For those of you that aren't aware of mallow, we wanted to introduce ourselves and make the move as easy as possible

No matter what people think about EA, it changed many peoples lives and connected so many more than people realise.
Best of luck to everyone involved. You will be missed!
After an incredible journey, Exchange Art will officially cease operations on 08/01/26.
The platform and its services will no longer be available after this date.
Building Exchange Art and fostering an art community on Solana has been an honor and privilege, unfortunately we could not find a viable path forward as a company fiscally during this prolonged bear market for art on chain.
Users are encouraged to access their accounts and retrieve any necessary information they may need prior to shutdown.
All artworks and/or currencies currently held within Exchange Art sales & escrow contracts will be released by Exchange Art to the proper owners prior to the platform’s closure.
All artwork is minted to the Solana blockchain and will be available to import on other marketplaces.
No extra steps are needed from artists or collectors to ensure their artwork is secure and lasts on.
We are deeply grateful to every artist, collector, curator, and supporter who helped shape what this platform is to its core.
Exchange Art will officially shut down and be inaccessible on Saturday, August 1; 08/01/26.

🚨 There’s a large-scale supply chain attack in progress: the NPM account of a reputable developer has been compromised. The affected packages have already been downloaded over 1 billion times, meaning the entire JavaScript ecosystem may be at risk.
The malicious payload works by silently swapping crypto addresses on the fly to steal funds.
If you use a hardware wallet, pay attention to every transaction before signing and you're safe.
If you don’t use a hardware wallet, refrain from making any on-chain transactions for now.
It’s still unclear whether the attacker is also stealing seeds from software wallets directly at this stage.

I think that the Rox series still didn't meet its match in data driven art spheres, and I'm willing to die on that hill anytime. Pure genius!
Also a wonderful person 🙌
Idk if many people know this but @FubbyFourTeen is one of my best friends in this space.
I love that we both have alter egos to fully express ourselves and tell our own stories. I trust them with my secrets and value our friendship so much!
ALSO… WE LOVE PINK! 💕

a blockchain is a network
its value is a function of its network effects
its networks effects are a function of its state
its state is determined by its history, liquidity, people (users, operators, founders, investors), products — and the interactions between them
put differently, the value is derived from its socioeconomic graph
what this means is that they are non-fungible
because you cannot replicate the same socioeconomic graph without following the same path with the same conditions — any more than you can replicate NYC by erecting some skyscrapers in Toronto
and if they are non-fungible, then they are not commodities
and if they are not commodities, then all the takes about revenue trending to zero are structurally incorrect

I “love” people who are not artists defining what artists should be and do.
And also that they know what matters, what will last etc.
I prefer a million times an artist who keeps experimenting and exploring, than those who are trying (too hard) to do whatever the so called market expects of them.
Also: yes we don’t need to mint every creative output. But man how cool it is to see the evolution of an artist on chain. So kudos to all artists who are not afraid to mint. Share. Experiment. Have fun too in the process.
Wouldn't the easiest way to stop scammer-bought Ye account just to Ban the account via community reports and waste their (alleged) 17m purchase.
If I'm not mistaken, account selling is prohibited by X tos?!
Gambling and conviction are essentially the same thing - on the different timescale.
Either way you'll be fine if you come to terms with the possibility that you are wrong.

As an artist, why are you using blockchain?
What problem are you solving?
Could you create without it?
If yes, then why choose it?
Ask yourself. Think for yourself. Decide for yourself.
