Personally I hated it when X allowed posting beyond 1400 characters. Some of you ramble on and on. It's like reading Hamlet. Get over yourself and get succinct with your point.

It is the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male & female.

Don't worry, President Trump is not going to harm gay people, bring back slavery or strip women of their rights... But there is a religion you voted into office that will...

One moment he was supporting two young cadets selling poppies, the next he was transported to hospital with life-altering injuries. In a matter of moments, this family's entire world changed. He is now facing a long and uncertain road ahead, including spinal surgery, an extended hospital stay and what will undoubtedly be an incredibly challenging recovery. I don’t generally share these, but for this one I am morally compelled to … 🇨🇦😞 gofund.me/6822ad2cc

It is not ‘Islamophobic’ to dislike Abdul El-Sayed. His supporters include people who say it doesn’t ‘f***ing’ matter if rapes happened on 7 October. And who think Zionism is a mental illness. This is the Islamo-left and they’re nuts, says Brendan O’Neill buff.ly/OHdge01

I am not here to tell you that Republicans have done a wonderful job. I am here to tell you that the Democrat Party has been fully captured by communists who want you dead and seek to destroy western civilization itself. Go vote against them. It’s the only choice.

You must win. If you don’t, every woman in Canada loses. Even those who are your most vicious critics today will lose. Or their daughters.
November 10, 12 & 13: The dates of my appeal trial at the BC Supreme Court. I am appealing a ruling that found me guilty of "unprofessional conduct" for advocating for the rights of women and children in my off-duty time. My regulator, the BC College of Nurses, investigated me at the behest of a cancellation mob after receiving complaints from members of the public I've never met. I have never had a patient complaint. I was dragged through years of disciplinary hearings, lasting longer than a murder trial. (My fight was made possible by @JCCFCanada and @LDBildy.) After my guilty verdict, I was told I would face a 1 month suspension and had to pay $94,000 to the BCCNM. My employer of 13 years, Vancouver Coastal Health, fired me with no severance, and no way to even collect EI. I was a single mom with 2 young boys. The suspension and $94k was put on hold for the appeal. My name is blacklisted and I essentially was pushed out of the profession entirely. I first noticed the rise of gender ideology a decade ago, and I was fascinated and repulsed that women were being told to shut up about their experiences to make way for people who identify as us. Then I came to understand that paediatric "gender affirming care" is a terrible medical scandal, probably worse than the lobotomy. I began to write about the topic and, with another BC woman, began to organize events to discuss gender ideology. We faced vicious threats, protests, and attempts to shut us down. Later, of course, I was involved in a billboard project that drew a lot of ire from trans activists. Never could I have imagined that life would go in this direction: being smeared as a bigot across the country; losing my career and long-term financial stability; and spending 6+ years in a protracted legal battle. I'm still fighting because I care about the truth, free speech (for all of us, but especially for regulated professionals, who don't deserve to be policed in their private lives and forced to go along with state orthodoxy), and women's rights. Please follow along for updates.

There’s been home invasions in #HamOnt and we don’t get mounted police patrols. Neither do jewish communities that are shot at. Guess it’s all about the 💵
We want to address some confusion surrounding the investigation into the home invasion in the Bridle Path neighbourhood. Investigators immediately recognized the potential connection between the home invasion and the individual who showed up at hospital with a gunshot wound. But recognizing a potential suspect and having enough evidence to arrest them are two different things. Suspicion alone isn’t enough. Police need reasonable grounds, supported by evidence, to make an arrest. We will continue to gather evidence and will go where the evidence takes us. We are grateful for the professionalism, tenacity and commitment of our investigators who continue this work. Let’s keep the focus where it belongs: finding the outstanding suspects and holding those responsible for this violent home invasion accountable.

That she even had to ask the q speaks volumes. She wants that cat. Go get one. You know what to do.
Ok. So I’m soliciting opinions. I lost my sweet girl Latté three months ago and I still cry over the loss of her. I’ve never been so bonded with a cat like the bond we had. But I’m considering adopting a shelter cat. I will be looking for an older cat because they always have been there the longest. Everyone wants kittens. I want an old soul. That said, I’m living in a nice, but VERY small 1 bdrm rental house right now. I’ll be buying a 2-3 bdrm townhouse likely in a few months (still saving as they’re crazy expensive in Marin). So, should I wait til I’m settled in my permanent new home so the cat doesn’t have to go through the stress of moving and another new place? Or adopt now? I’m thinking waiting is better. Thoughts?

We LOVED getting these on deployment. Kids would draw the wildest stuff and teachers clearly weren't reviewing them. They would draw Army men shooting people and blood coming out and then it would say "I hope you don't die." Everyone looked forward to getting them.
There is nothing more earnest or unhinged than kids’ letters to the troops

Training for a marathon should be the hardest part, not getting to the starting line on race day. My plan: start subway service at 6 a.m. on marathon day. A world-class city should plan for the world-class events it hosts. Let’s get Toronto moving. Congratulations to all the runners taking part in today’s TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon!
