A bat session with students of #tropicalecolgyandconservation field course from #CUNY. Brief but hope you enjoyed the evening + positive impressions of bat!
Although widespread in much of SE Asia, only one nesting site is known in Thailand. We are lucky enough to have a chance to observe behaviours of this gorgeous bird in the field during the last breeding season. Still lot to get to know them.
Only one out of four flashes fired on this shot, but it turns out not so bad. #Hipposideroslarvatus
me selfied with a (post-breeding-season) nest of Lesser Adjutant on top of a dipterocarp tree at the last in-situ nesting site of this vulnerable bird in Thailand
