Man, this was good. Really good. Great job, Berman and ESPN. I was never a Bears fan. But this just reminds of a time when Ditka symbolized football and masculinity. the 1980s were amazing.

John Lennox has spent decades defending the Christian faith as a mathematician, philosopher, and apologist. But I’m not sure he’s ever said anything more beautiful than this.

God never regrets his promises. He never grows bored or weary. He doesn’t get mad with us and debate with himself as to whether he should walk away. He never lounges through a lazy, self-centered day.

None of us knows how many days God has assigned to us on this earth. But we have today. We have God's presence and His promises. And were called to think long, to think past this life, to live with eternity in mind. We have today. We don’t know about tomorrow.

Believers will become more Christlike over time, but never more righteous. Our righteous status is all Christ’s, not the result of our self-improvement.
