The moth demoness, as per usual, pretended not to hear the muttered word; just because she had a damaged antennae, did not mean she heard any less of the hurtful words he would say. "Alright. I'll see you later, Vox." She stood, turned, whispered 'I love you', then left.

". . ." A glare from the pimpish director when that man tightened and pulled her back, returning the look he gave her. "I'll take the compromise if you let go of my face."

The moth stared for a few moments at the refusal, then let out a sigh. . . not one of satisfaction, but of exhaustion. "Hmm. . ." She did not seem to enjoy his answer as she shifted slightly to gently pull back from his touch. "We never do anything anymore."

"How about we take a retreat away from all the work?" The insectoid suggested as one of her claws traced the man's hand under her chin. "I know how much you like to talk, and I love the sound of your voice. Why would I interrupt?"

The lilac beauty let out a sigh of satisfaction, leaning into the touch as those rubies gazed at the other with such compassion and love for him. "Good. . . I'm glad. Is it just work piling that's been keeping you away?"

"Yes. You've been avoiding my calls and texts." The moth demoness' delicate upper claws rested under her chin, lower pair on her lap, tilting her head. "But 𝒚𝒐𝒖 would 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 ignore 𝒎𝒆. . . would you, Voxxy?"
