There is a bunch of *terrible* CFB25 recruiting advice in the replies here. Delivered confidently. Some notes:
- Offer scholarships ASAP. You get influence every week they’re on. Removing them and adding back thinking you’re doing something is just hurting you.
- Send the House until you can *deduce* which perfect pitch is theirs and then HARD SELL! You don’t need to SEE all 3 checks to know the right one. Sometimes you can even do it on 1 green check + a dealbreaker. Did a video on this.
- Visits are 40 hours for influence you *might* get later. Time is of the essence. Use those hours to get influence NOW and just close them before visits come into play. I’m all the way out on Visits.
- Sway is bad. And it’s not even guaranteed to work. Don’t use sway.
- Once you figure out how to deduce the perfect pitch early there’s also not a great argument to be made for Soft Sell. Just get the pitch right with process of elimination and Hard Sell it.
- You don’t need to mix up recruiting actions just get a max benefit or something. Influence gained corresponds to HOURS and not the green arrows. And there’s no benefit to “mixing it up”.
- Yes, leave “Hard Sell” on. You would not believe how many people want to take it off after a week lol. Why??? Leave it on!

Here's a practice drill I run to get better at passing vs the CPU in College Football 25 and Madden:
- Go to Practice Mode with your team/playbook
- For offense select 'Play Type' then highlight 'Pass' and double click the L Stick
- For defense highlight 'Dime' then double click the L stick
- View your play, read the defense then take your left hand off the controller
- Snap the ball and make the right throw
This takes all other variables away - you can't scramble, pass lead or hot route. You have to read the defense, know where space SHOULD be, then throw routes with no lead.
Do this enough successfully and you'll be ready for anything the CPU throws at you.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL 25 DYNASTY HEADS UP:
Do NOT edit your Scheme/Playbook in Dynasty. You can update them with EDIT COACH, but there is a bug that will edit your roster if you use Scheme/Playbook.
EA is aware and working on a fix, but in the meantime spread for awareness.

As you all know, I was born & raised in Iowa City, Iowa. The University of Iowa football team has been a main stay in my life since I was a kid. The U of Iowa was put on the map when Kinnick Stadium attendees, Hawkeye fans and all, would wave to the kids of the Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital after the 1st quarter. The Wave has now become one of the top college traditions in the nation.
I'm proud to announce that I will be participating in the Extra Life Charity Challenge through the Stead Family Children's Hospital. With your help, we can help the kids that fight for their lives everyday.
