He smiles and climbs back in the chair to get a better view. “ Now we just put them in the oven and make the frosting that goes on top ! “

“ Yeah ! Yeah ! I can do that. “ He hops down from his chair and opens a few cabinets rummaging through the many Tupperwares and other things before finding a nice sized tray to use. “ Here you go ! “

“ You can cut it into rolls just to be safe. “ He didn’t want to handle a sharp object right now.

Michael helps roll one of the sides while Schlatt rolled the other so it would be even and not wonky.

“ Yup I think we are ! “ He leans on the counter over the dough inspecting their work marking it as ready.

He pats down the sugar so it’s not just sitting there at risk of falling out.

Excited nodding, he grabs the bowl with the sugar filling he had made earlier and puts in on one side. “ I do this side you do that side. “ he points to the bare dough showing that was Schlatts side so he can have fun too.

He pokes the dough when Schlatt finished and giggles. “ Squishy. “

He finished a few minutes before the dough was done rising but now it was time to roll out the dough, put the sugar on, and cut it up into the classic cinnamon roll shape.
