It was a great honor to chat with @webbkyle and @MaeganGiroux (a.k.a. BTC royalty) about #thinkingclassrooms. @ThinkThankPod thinkthankthunk.ca/ep-22/ Is that really my name down there?!
For me, a tape diagram is my go-to.

The number of users, especially in the #MTBoS and #ITeachMath worlds, on that blue social media space seems to have exploded in the last few days. The conversation is more civilized, the ads are nonexistent, and the feel is surprisingly hopeful. Come join us in the Sky! 😉
Establishing routines in the classroom is not a strength of mine.
So I really appreciated the idea from @MikeFlynn55 to put together small Tupperware boxes to organize materials needed for each group in my #thinkingclassroom.
Streamlined the process of getting started!
The 2025 Building Thinking Classrooms Conference will be held in Seattle, Washington on June 30th and July 1st!
Speaker proposals are now being accepted!
Come share your journey or come and enjoy the learning!

But, hey, if you actually speak French, you can see Jenna + Geneviève live via AFEMO.
Il reste deux semaines avant la mini conférence du 19 novembre. On a 80 inscriptions déjà! Inscrivez-vous dès aujourd'hui!

I really like these and have used them in the past. I am currently wondering how use them to more explicitly link the process of solving them to solving symbolic equations.
Mobile puzzle --> Equation
Equation --> Mobile puzzle
Has anyone tried this?
