Each summer and fall the Indiana General Assembly has hearings on boards called Interim Committees. I’m honored to be named the chairman of the Code Revision Committee. Our work is to find errors, confusing wording and duplicative items in the Indiana Code that we can remove, correct or amend to streamline the code without changing the underlying law to ensure clarity for Hoosiers. For the party that is dogmatic on that you must adhere to what someone tells you is their name or nickname is… weird to not give that same respect to someone they oppose. To be clear, your own background photo, his website, his campaign email handle, his social media, and the state Dems comms use Beau. Understandable, it’s what he goes by. But the State Democrat Party is insistent to use Max’s full name even though it isn’t used in his website, email, social media, press releases, and so on. I have no doubt, just like Beau, Max has no problems with his name. So why is your state party insistent on utilizing Max’s name differently than how Beau uses his? I would appreciate understanding how he doesn’t deserve the same level of respect.
