It is broken, and I am running to fix it.

Today we remember the victims of the October 7th attacks and grieve with their families. Three years ago, Hamas terrorists murdered more than 1,200 people and took 251 hostages in the deadliest day for the Jewish people since the Holocaust. Families were killed in their homes, and hundreds of young people were gunned down at a music festival in an act of horrific cruelty. May their memories be a blessing. Here in South Florida, October 7th is deeply personal. I have sat with neighbors who lost loved ones, who feared for family in Israel, and who have watched antisemitism rise here at home. Their grief - and their resilience - have stayed with me. We must continue to stand with our Jewish neighbors and fight antisemitism and hatred in all its forms, so that every person in this country can live safely and openly in their faith.
