Last week, team OAT spent time at St. Vincent de Paul connecting with residents. We were there to listen, accepting complaints, concerns, and compliments about the PPD to help support fair and transparent policing. ur office is grateful for every opportunity to build trust.

Law Day at the Maricopa Municipal Court was unforgettable!
Over 40 South Mountain High School students showed up and showed so much curiosity and leadership as we explored the importance of civilian oversight, our real‑world version of checks and balances.
Law Day 2026 was a win. OAT spent the day with 3-8th graders talking about the importance of transparency in Phoenix policing, running a fun activity, and joining a panel alongside judges and community pillars. Such an inspiring experience and we get to do it again next week.
Team OAT had a great time tabling at the Second Annual NFBPA and PHN Afro Latino Celebration. It was a wonderful event that highlighted the richness and importance of Afro Latino culture, and we were grateful to be part of the energy and community connection.

Today, OAT joined the Phoenix Employee Memorial Ceremony. Honoring the lives and service of dedicated City employees, including retired Phoenix Engineer Frank Contreras and Phoenix Fire Captain Anthony Mock. Their commitment to our community will never be forgotten.
