Imagine if in 1943 FDR had decided that the US would stop helping Britain and instead would side with the Third Reich. That's a bit like what President Trump is now doing by cozying up to Russia as it tries to destroy Ukraine. Utterly shameful. A humiliating moment for the US.

As US Secretary of the Treasury @SecScottBessent clearly has absolutely no idea what he is talking about and asks “Where is Germany?” when it comes to the supply of Patriot fire units and missiles to Ukraine, I thought this might be a good time for an educational tweet. Let's first talk about the supply of fire units and afterwards about the supply of missiles. Germany, Mr. Secretary, has in fact supplied more MIM-104 Patriot fire units to Ukraine than the US has, despite owning and operating only a fraction of what the US owns and operates. About half of Ukraine's MIM-104 Patriot fire units came from Bundeswehr stocks. A total of five fully equipped MIM-104 Patriot fire units were supplied from Bundeswehr stocks between 2023 and 2025 alongside a few extra launchers and most likely a spare radar unit. Germany began donating Patriot related equipment to Ukraine at the same time the US has and still does it until this day while the US has long stopped donating this to Ukraine. Let's now talk about missiles. Together with every fire unit, Germany also donated a missile package. Known donations included for example 100 missiles and 64 missiles. That's substantial, but of course, this only guaranteed the immediate operational readiness of said fire units, nothing else. We didn’t have our own production facilities and our stocks weren’t even remotely as well-stocked as those in the US. The US (led by Biden) actually kept those fire units alive. In February 2025, before the delivery of the last two MIM-104 Patriot fire units took place, before various donations via PURL and JUMPSTART took place and before Germany made several smaller missile deliveries from its own stocks, the German MoD confirmed to have delivered 328 Patriot missiles of various versions. By now the number of Patriot missiles already financed and delivered should exceed 500 easily. But what about what's happening now? Germany has shown multiple times since President Trump took office that it is leading in the organisation, funding and delivery of new ammunition for Ukraine's MIM-104 Patriot fire units. The German government has multiple times organized or tried to organize new deliveries for Ukraine. For example, in February 2026, Germany was in talks with multiple nations to find a total of 35 PAC-3 missiles for Ukraine. After weeks-long negotiations, 30+ were actually donated as a result of the German initiative. Germany was also — on the highest levels — in talks with Spain and Greece for the delivery of additional missiles. But of course, we are doing things beyond. A lot of things. As already mentioned, Germany is actively funding Patriot missiles from the US both via JUMPSTART and via PURL. You shouldn't forget @SecScottBessent, that we are paying you for this. As recently as June 2026, Germany spent a total of $200 million on PAC-3 missiles via JUMPSTART and another $200 million on various missiles via PURL. Total donations already exceed $1 billion. And now to the final and biggest part: In April 2026, Germany announced an enormous missile package for Ukraine. Over the following years, Germany will spend €3.2 billion to finance 600 PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for Ukraine's MIM-104 Patriot fire units — made in Germany by the way. So please don't ask what Germany is doing for Ukraine. We do more for Ukraine then anybody else, including the US. All you do now is getting paid billions for the bare minimum. PS: For full transparency it must be noted that multiple nations like Denmark, Lithuania and Norway above all have supported Germany financially in the delivery or re-procurement of MIM-104 Patriot fire units and missiles.

Utterly evil.
EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph. The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries. ‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement. But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe. The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown. ‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

This story is extremely important: A whistleblower revealed that Brazil's far-right Bolsonaro family dynasty met with Meta to discuss US plans to interfere in Brazil's election, to prevent Lula from winning. Lula's Facebook and Instagram accounts were censored a few days before the first round of the presidential election. This had a huge impact on the election, because Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which are all owned by Meta, are the most popular apps in Brazil, and are hugely influential all across Latin America. (Jair Bolsonaro's son Flávio was declared the winner of the first round of the vote, by a narrow margin.) Meta later admitted that Lula's accounts had been restricted, but it claimed that this was supposedly due to a "technical error"... The whistleblower who disclosed this is Nadia Beller, a Bolivian journalist who was almost killed by hitmen hired by Fernando Cerimedo, a far-right Argentine political operative who oversees election interference, bots, and disinformation campaigns. Cerimedo is closely linked to the US government and has worked for pretty much every right-wing leader in Latin America. He was photographed with Donald Trump Jr. and members of the Bolsonaro family, and he received an award at Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida a few months before he was arrested for the failed assassination attempt against Beller, his pregnant ex-girlfriend. ML4 was trained on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in our European datacenters -- our cluster in Bruyères-le-Châtel built using our Series B fundraise. We are investing heavily in infrastructure, with our Series C and D clusters coming online soon. This additional compute will let us train longer, pursue more ambitious post-training, and iterate faster. We expect large and rapid improvements in the weeks and months ahead. 2/n

The idea that Asians are robots who never reach the very top levels of ability is such sad, desperate cope. Show me a cellist with as much ability, creativity, and passion as Yo-Yo Ma, a mathematician as deep and brilliant as Terence Tao, a science fiction writer as creative and thoughtful as Ted Chiang, an entrepreneur as canny as Jensen Huang. No, your race does not give you the spark of genius.
Ok, here’s a story about the Great Asian Grindset Debate. A couple years ago we put our kid in a piano school run by a Korean woman living in France. There’s a recital at the end of the year where all of the kids play; half Asian, which is very unusual for France, half White. The Asian kids were all excellent. They were all an 8 or a 9. The White kids were all over the place. There were 1s. There were 2s. There were 3s. There were also 10s. The Asian kids all played, sorry but it’s true, somewhat robotically (which is no shame for a kid!). The best White kids played with that extra dimension of soul and emotion that made them touch greatness. The Asian kids were *all* 8 or 9. The White kids were all over the place from 1 to 10. At the end the lady who runs the school gave a little speech, which was full of nice things, but had as a big throughline chiding the parents of the White kids for not making their kids practice more. At the end, she made a joke: "Remember, make your kids work, because no matter how hard they work, there’s an Asian kid next door who’s working twice as hard." We all laughed, myself included. Do I think that the culture that produced those 8-9 kids is healthy, or one that I would like to see dominant in my country? Hell no. Do I also wish that the White kids who were below an 8 had worked, say, at least 10% harder? Some 50% harder? Hell yes.

Mark Carney, "In the heart of Germany, above Weimar, there is a wooded ridge called Ettusberg. And for decades, Goethe walked, thought, and wrote there. An oak on that ridge came to bear his name, a living monument to the highest ideals of European culture" "As the 20th century turned dark, that same oak became trapped behind the barbed wire of Buchenwald. A silent witness to humanity's deepest moral failure. Goethe understood that ideals must be fought for, that values do not defend themselves." "Indeed, at the end of Faust, the old man's last vision is of a free people on free ground. Nödvg, Värdjän, Siegfreiheit. Wie das Leben, de taklik si eroban mus" "Freedom and life must be earned every single day" "Every day" "Every day, not once in 1945 or 1956 or 1989. Every day, including this one." My take: 1945, 1956 and 1989 are not distant history lessons: they mark Europe’s liberation from fascism, Hungary’s uprising against Soviet rule, and the fall of the Iron Curtain. Carney’s point is that freedom is never something Europe simply achieved and banked forever - it is a choice, a responsibility and, when necessary, a struggle renewed by every generation.

This is exactly how AI hype turns real science into fake news. Yes, Moderna used AI and computational algorithms in this cancer program, especially to analyze tumor mutations and select neoantigens. But this is NOT a story about ChatGPT, LLMs or the recent generative AI boom suddenly curing cancer. Moderna and Merck started this program in 2016. The first patient was dosed in 2017. The technology has been developed and clinically tested for years. The actual breakthrough is personalized mRNA cancer therapy + Keytruda showing positive Phase 3 results in melanoma. That is already huge. There is no need to rewrite it as “AI cured cancer.” I am very pro AI, but pretending every scientific breakthrough happened because of today's AI hype makes the whole field look less credible. In an era where anyone can generate convincing nonsense in seconds, accurate and authentic posts will become much more valuable.
AI labs: give us billions, we’ll cure cancer Moderna:

I have information that Anthropic scraped my github twitter reddit discord and facebook posts for the development of it's Fable model. To do this they developed a sophisticated internal platform to conduct large scale scraping and obfuscation of their actions.
We have information that Moonshot AI distilled Anthropic’s Fable for the development of its K3 model. To do this they developed a sophisticated internal platform to conduct large scale distillation against U.S. models, allowing them to quickly switch between multiple methods of access to avoid detection. Moonshot AI has also acquired GB300-equipped servers and has accessed GB300s in Thailand, likely to train its AI models.   The United States strongly supports the free and fair development of AI, including a thriving competitive ecosystem that spans frontier models, specialized systems, open-source frameworks, and open-weight models. Legitimate AI distillation used to create smaller, more efficient models plays a vital role in this open innovation ecosystem. However, large-scale, covert industrial distillation aimed at stealing proprietary U.S. technology and undermining American research is unacceptable.
