Cincinnati outgained West Virginia 622-598. It held the nation's fourth-best rushing attack to just 134 yards on 48 attempts on the ground.
However, it let Michael Hawkins throw for 464 yards after his total through six games was 1,055.
West Virginia was always going to rack up yards and score points, but allowing most of it to come through the air is probably the most disappointing part.
Have to be better. #Bearcats

#Bengals WR Ja’Marr Chase won appeals of fines for his “people’s elbow” celebration, as two fines of $14,926 were rescinded from the #Texans game.
From the appeals office letter, “On appeal, Mr. Chase … further contended that even if he committed the violation, his fine should be reduced because he received no warning that this was not allowed.
“He added that this is a new celebration with his teammate and that it is not offensive. Mr. Chase finally stated that the NFL is assuming the worst of him and his teammate without discussing with the NFLPA.“
