We were delighted to return to Stationers' Hall today as headline sponsor of the 2026 @londonpressclub Awards, celebrating excellence in British journalism and recognising the individuals whose reporting helps inform, challenge and engage the public. All guests arriving were welcomed by two of our outstanding cars, and even an amazing @DucatiUK bike, showcased in the Hall’s historic courtyard. As part of the afternoon, I had the privilege of speaking and presenting awards alongside journalists, editors and media leaders from across our national press. The event was a fitting celebration of the professionalism, integrity and dedication that underpin a strong and independent press. At @VertuMotors, we recognise the vital role journalism plays in explaining complex issues. As a business that has evolved significantly since its founding - two decades ago this year - we have seen first-hand the importance of accurate, insightful reporting in telling not only our story, but the story of the wider automotive sector during a period of considerable change. From the transition to electric vehicles and evolving Government policy, to wider shifts in mobility and consumer behaviour, informed and insightful reporting has been instrumental in bringing complex issues to life, challenging policy, scrutinising decisions and ensuring informed public debate. Following today’s speech, I have been quoted in @motortradenews and @CarDealerMag this afternoon, if you’d like to read: motortradenews.com/industry-… cardealermagazine.co.uk/vert… Congratulations to all of today's winners and finalists. It was an honour for Vertu to support an event which recognises the very best of British journalism. #Vertu #LondonPressClub #Recognition #Partnership #VertuMotors
