Haven’t snapped in over 8 months but had to congratulate my friend. This guy is the most hardworking and competitive dude I’ve worked with. I wish I could have lined up with him on Friday nights. Even when I gave him some flack I knew he was the real deal. Absolutely deserved.
COMMITTED‼️‼️#EMAW 👌 #GoCats 😼
Thanks to all that supported me throughout my journey!

Thanks so much to @CoachGF628 for the invite to the West Virginia Specialist camp. Looking forward to competing
Yesterday was an amazing day for me. Being ranked #33 in the nation, hitting a 4kg pr on the snatch of 78kg/172lbs, and claiming a 1st division at districts with my solo on my alto sax. The work is paying off but we can’t stop.
Blessed and grateful to be ranked #33 in America and #1 in Michigan by Kohls Snapping after Underclassman Challenge. Thanks so much to @Coach_Casper for the review.

Thanks to CMU football and Coach DeBastiani @CoachDeBastiani for visiting our school today. We appreciate the conversations and wish you/the new staff the best this year.
Forgot to post this but here are some snaps with @bartels_kolten from the other day. Improvement is the aim, perfection is the goal.
We gotta get stronger. Yesterday in weight training class I hit a pr back squat of 290lbs. Working hard towards becoming better and it’s paying off.
The build towards @KohlsSnapping Underclassman Challenge continues. I just hit 225lbs on Bench, which is a huge milestone. Also I videoed 4 consecutive snaps. Looking forward to competing against the best in Florida.
What a day. Hit 2 personal bests, 95kg(209lbs) in the Power Clean +Jerk and 100kg(220lbs) in the Clean + Jerk. Getting stronger and more prepared as Underclassmen Challenge is only one week away.

After the Western Showcase, another great group of athletes is headed to Florida for the Kohl’s National Underclassman Challenge. #KohlsUCC
The hard work is starting to pay off. Had a fun time today at the @KohlsSnapping Western showcase in Arizona where I earned myself an invite to the Underclassman Invitational.
Late post, but I smashed my pr total by 12kg yesterday while getting both Snatch and Clean and Jerk prs. The goal is getting stronger while I gain weight and it’s going well.
Snatch: 74kg/163lbs
Clean and Jerk: 95kg/209lbs
Had an amazing time today in Mount Pleasant today watching @CMU_Football. Was great to see @BenPratt70 snapping in a game. Thanks to @CoachMurphy87 for letting me come out for a game day visit. Hope to be back in Mount Pleasant soon.
Had a great day Thursday against Bloomfield Hills. We ended up blowing them out 35-7. No Punts but went 5/5 on PAT. Looking forward to getting back on the field against Pontiac on Friday.

Just finished up competing in the motor city barbell summer slam. Really happy to compete and ended with a 146kg or 321lbs total which qualified me to states.

Statement from Head Coach Kevin O'Connell on Khyree Jackson's tragic passing

ALT I am absolutely crushed by this news. Khyree brought a contagious energy to our facility and our team. His confidence and engaging personality immediately drew his teammates to him. In our short time together, it was evident Khyree was going to develop into a tremendous professional football player, but what was more impressive was his desire to become the best person he could be for his family and those around him. I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to Khyree’s family, friends, teammates and coaches
