The last 48 hours on Opus 5.5 have been truly mind-blowing. It’s breathtaking how capable and efficient this model is. What even is Fable 5.1 again but a token torch? I nearly forgot to check usage until the 75% message popped up.

Truly exciting to see the future of education unfold before our own eyes. The concept of apertures, focal planes, and circle of confusion only made sense over the course of weeks (truly months) of using lenses and reading diagrams to get the same instinctual understanding.
I asked Opus 5.5 to explain camera focus by building an interactive lens lab Here's what it came up with after 1 hour 26 minutes in one shot, $25.66 API cost lens.lab.sael.net Move the focus ring and you can see the glass elements shift the sharp plane through the scene

Claude Design auth lapses frequently… So agents re-encode a <1 MB builds as base64 and paste it into a browser tabs in dozens of chunks, sha256-ing each one to prove it landed. Nearly 2 hours and a token waste. @claudeai please make DesignSync more reliable in Claude Code.

Optimization vs. Alignment. “The upsampled thumbnail alone already hits 0.96 correlation […] the loop was gaming a flawed pixel-correlation target rather than recovering real detail. I'm switching to a high-pass correlation metric at full resolution […]”

Both the Color Filter and Reduce White Point controls no longer work with the latest @Apple iOS27 Beta and Public Release.

The Color Filter automatically turns on via a Focus Mode at night, yet it cannot be turned off temporarily without switching Focus Modes.

The Reduce White Point is nice as a backup for a pitch-black bedroom or tent while camping. Yet tapping it no longer activates it from Control Center.

Left speechless witnessing the re-designed rewards portal that @USAA released. A truly astonishing work of contemporary art.

A new world of Interaction Design lies right ahead of us. Interface World Model is a great name for it respects that interfaces are not merely a single surface, but a whole realm with temporal and contextual considerations. Trusting a simulation is a leap.
Today, we're sharing new research on Solaris, our first Interface World Model. Solaris is a new kind of operating system that generates interactive interfaces frame by frame, in real time, with no code. We find that Solaris outperforms frontier LLMs when generating new interfaces, across structural similarity and information retention. Read more and request early access at the link below.

Local minima are extremely rare in high dimensional spaces, so if you ever feel stuck in a rut it’s probably just because you aren’t considering a wide enough set of orthogonal options

It would be great if @AnthropicAI Claude Code could access history from Claude Design. Currently running Claude Design in Claude Code Browser. The ‘DesignSync’ tool is limited. Now Claude Code can fetch ‘OmeletteService/GetProject’ history from Claude Design.

“The specific error: stage 2 of my pipeline spawned one verifier per finding, and each re-read the whole 76KB file to check a single passage. ~380 agents × ~50k tokens = 19 of the 21.3M” Impressive bug @AnthropicAI 398 agents for basic analysis of a Markdown file.

Semantic funeral for “chat”. Kudos to @claudeai for making the leap.

I didn’t expect ChatGPT/Codex to also demote chat. Historical UX moment.
