There was a fantastic turnout from our Pharmacist colleagues across the profession, and Sarah Chambers @IIOPharmacy expertly chaired a great discussion between the audience & panel.
Lots of ideas for further action and it certainly will be ‘a journey to progress all’ with ‘no action too small’ @AntibioticPresc @eimeartb @SKeane201 @EllenMa53466811 Inspired to continue on this journey with our amazing Pharmacy profession!

Many antibiotics are no longer effective against some bacteria which means more disease for us to fight. Using antibiotics only when needed can help stop this happening: bit.ly/3XylPZ1

ALT A bottle of antibiotics with the text "Antibiotics should only be taken when absolutely necessary. They can cause harm and can have serious side effects for adults and children: rash, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhoea, thrush, can cause superbugs. If your doctor says you don't need an antibiotic, that's okay. Your body will be able to fight the infection on it's own".
