The UK government's ruthless and reckless policies that "go for growth” require us all to ask the essential questions that Donella Meadows - mother of systems thinking - set out decades ago. So join me in answering these questions... 1/n

Can’t resist taking a shot to see if I can do it in 5 tweets or fewer… (Your fault @nicread !)

We’re quite enjoying the cathedral clerestorey light vibes inside. But this won’t happen IRL. Those gaps are there to allow installers to reach in, to ensure that insulation and vapour barrier are properly lapping between the floors.

Last day of structural testing today. The things that look like 🥌 s on the roof are, yup, 45kg weights to preload it - then it’s gonna get shoved sideways… .. really, really hard.

This year, thanks to @innovateuk we have got a chance to do exactly that. So over the last few months we’ve been collaborating with @EdinburghUni, @Three_Create, @leedsbeckett and Real Living Homes (@Phil_Barrett) to develop and test it.

Fantastic article. The term "affordable housing" needs a rebrand, it has been used as a marketing tool rather than actually being affordable to the many. A broken housing market is one of the reasons I set up Real Living Homes. People driven over profit driven focus
Now is the time to right some housing wrongs. Now is the time to build our future homes. My piece for @themjcouk @CIHhousing @WorldHabitat

This is the written version of the talk I gave at #DeptofDreams on friday. Huge thanks to the @CIVIC_SQUARE team. As I said to @ImmyKaur, if I only had one hour left to live, this is the talk I would give: link.medium.com/XnywFcrEu7

Been playing with that @rtweed's #QEWD-hit-platform thingy, and it looks very good! Some fantastic developers making fantastic things out there. We need to ease the path to safe, secure, benefits-focused deployment. Keepin' it no-till / lo-till. Show what's good!
