"You used to ride on the chrome horse with your diplomat
Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat
Ain’t it hard when you discover that
He really wasn’t where it’s at
After he took from you everything he could steal?
How does it FEEL?"
We have a champion of the #VonnegutTournament...

Coop grew up in Maspeth, NY.
I knew him. He was 3 years younger.
He was in my younger brothers grade, and good friends with him.
He played on the Yankees as a reliever, & I and some friends went to see him.
He came in & struck out Reggie Jackson.
A fine man with a big heart.
The White Sox send our condolences to the family, friends and fans of Don Cooper, who has passed away at 70.
Don Cooper spent 33 seasons as a coach in the White Sox organization from 1988-2020, including 18 full seasons as the major-league pitching coach. Cooper served as the pitching coach for the 2005 World Series champion club, which became the first team since the 1928 Yankees to toss four consecutive complete games in a single postseason.
Forever in our thoughts.
My dad, Tony B would've been 104 today.
He died in 1999.
He was a role model in how he treated others. He'd give the shirt off his back.
Worked 2, sometimes 3 jobs, raised 5 children.
Rest in Peace Dad, I miss You.
As long as life according to Hoyle doesn't get in the way of my individual right to play the Village Idiot at times I'll follow the rules.
Marines always.
Introduce yourself as what almost killed you:
"I bruise easy, keep my scars well hid,
Ain't nobody's business what it is I did.
White powder, keep you dry,
White powder, make you die.
Bruises and scars..."
Let me whip this out:

"You might ask what it takes to remember
When you know that you've seen it before
Where a government lies to a people
And a country is drifting to war..."

Sen. @ossoff: There's something uniquely despicable about lying a nation into war, treating citizens as fools and the selfless patriots who serve as pawns. 5 months later we're still bombing. Americans are still dying. Iran still has its uranium. Hormuz is still closed. A war built on lies told by a White House utterly absent figures of integrity to dissuade the president from his delusions.
The draft dodging prick should not be allowed to speak of the Vietnam War.
"now come on wall street don't be slow,
Man this's war a-go-go,
There's plenty good money to be made, supplyin' the army with the tools of the trade,
just hope and pray that when they drop the bomb, they drop it on the themselves.."
As Trump draws out his war with Iran, Americans are back to scraping together $4 for a gallon of gas.
"Manned the guillotines in Paris on that day at the Bastille,
Fought alongside the Capitol Police to stop trump’s election steal."
"I am not a man of class, some may consider me crude,
I live a life of service, never servitude.
I may not own many things, don't have much to show.
I still have my dignity, and the world should know,
I'm a simple man with simple dreams."
"Donald Trump, he's a chump,
He's gonna get caught,
Just you wait and see,
Why's everybody always pickin' on me?"
