Curling definitely is a 10,000 hours type of sport. I don't remember the exact figure, but supposedly Nik Edin throw a crazy high number of rocks per day.

I am always amazed by how sweepers operate on ice - it's almost like you are flowing in the air.🌬️ Must have taken many years of hard work to be this agile on a slippery surface 👏👏

I've been saying this for a while, and even pitched it to USAC a few years ago. There is so much information sharing that could take place. If there's any good thing to come out of the current controversies, my curling rolodex is way bigger.

This is gonna be pie-in-the-sky but this is where I feel like clubs in different geographic areas should form sister-club relationships where 2 clubs can learn from each other's challenges, successes, and unrecognized opportunities.
