As students across New Jersey head back to school, I’m incredibly proud that phone-free schools are now the norm in the Garden State.  Less distraction means more learning, more laughter, and more real-life interaction. Kids shouldn’t live their childhoods behind a screen.

N.J. students will have to put down their cell phones this fall under new state law

The law requires the state’s nearly 600 public school districts to adopt a policy banning the use of cell phones and other personal devices for the entire school day.

Bruce James was a dedicated public servant who cared deeply about the people of Passaic County. For more than two decades as a County Commissioner, he brought the same commitment to serving others that defined his career as a social services caseworker and proud union leader.

A longtime advocate for working people, he always stood up for those whose voices needed to be heard, earning the respect and affection of so many in his community. Tammy and I send our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

From Westfield to Walpack, @RebeccaForNJ07 will always put the people of #NJ07 first. As a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and working mom of two young kids, she’s ready to bring independent leadership to Washington.  Tammy and I are proud to endorse her campaign for Congress.

Ten years ago today, I launched my campaign for governor with a promise to tackle New Jersey's most pressing challenges. After two terms in office, I'm so proud of everything we accomplished together — thank you to everyone who joined us on this incredible journey.

From leading our state through a once-in-a-century pandemic to earning 9 credit rating upgrades, there are too many achievements to count.  But, through it all, we were who we said we'd be and focused every day on building a stronger and fairer NJ that works for every family.

We are heartbroken to learn of the sudden passing of our friend, former Assemblyman Al Coutinho. Al was an extraordinary person whose generosity, kindness, and commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. Our prayers are with his loved ones.
