Today, I announced 60 Rural Health Transformation Program awards totaling more than $32.6 million.
These investments will help Mississippi train, recruit and retain the health care professionals our rural communities need and help close gaps in mental health care by strengthening our state’s Psychiatric Emergency Services.
We set out to transform health care across our state, and that’s what we’re doing. These investments will help Mississippi families get the care they deserve closer to home and strengthen health care for generations to come.
Thank you to President Trump, Secretary Kennedy and Administrator Oz for their partnership in improving health care for Mississippi and her people.
It’s another great day for Mississippi!

Great appointment!
I’ve appointed Bo Luckey Commissioner of the @MissDPS effective immediately. @TindellSean will remain at MDPS until November 30, 2026, to assist with the transition.
Mississippi will always back the blue. Our state recognizes the tremendous sacrifices our law enforcement community and their families make to keep us safe. We will continue using every tool at our disposal to support them.
Bo has done an incredible job as Chief of Capitol Police. His work has made our capital city and state safer. He has years of law enforcement experience and is the right person to lead the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.
I’d like to thank Sean for admirably serving our state and wish him well in the next chapter of his career.

The State Auditor has an important job: protecting taxpayer dollars and holding the government accountable.
I’ve spent my career working in finance and law, and I’m running to put that experience to work for Mississippi.
There’s a lot of work ahead, and I’m ready to get started.
I agree with Governor Reeves and we have to make sure we take steps to keep it that way! One way to do that is to identify ways to make government more efficient while things are going great. @tatereeves @BuffingtonForMS

Rosa Beckett, CEO of the Jackson Municipal Airport Authority, met with 8 airlines to discuss expanded service, and the AWS announcement was front and center of that conversation. This is how economic development compounds: one major investment opens doors for the next.

Today, I’m excited to share that I’m officially running for Mississippi State Auditor.
Mississippi has been my home my entire life, and after more than 40 years working with businesses and financial institutions, I’m ready to put that experience to work for the people of our state.
I’m running because taxpayers deserve a government that is transparent, accountable, and responsible with every dollar.
Sarah, our family and I are incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support we’ve already received. I look forward to traveling Mississippi, listening to people across our state, and sharing more about why I’m running.
I hope you’ll follow along and join us on this journey!

The @MSGOP is proud to endorse Senator @cindyhydesmith for the United States Senate. 🐘🗳️
Cindy Hyde-Smith has been a steadfast conservative fighter for Mississippi values—standing strong on limited government, supporting our farmers and rural communities, defending the Second Amendment, and putting Mississippi first in Washington.
Cindy stands with President Trump and hard working Mississippians. Let’s re-elect Senator Hyde-Smith and keep Mississippi’s voice strong in the U.S. Senate! 🇺🇸🇺🇸
