event in Cheltenham today. Part M5 closed gridlocked diversions for 2 junctions (hit it yesterday) - ok work needs to be done. But, checked trains out Bristol - Cheltenham but only buses from Glos which will hit the same diversion traffic. Shouldn’t train and roads talk b4 this?

Just playing Cockney Rebel, cooking, 🍷 in hand and reflecting how sad Steve Harley’s early passing was- saw him a few times in later years and mid 70s.

So I’m going to @ECB_cricket international @WorcsCCC tomorrow and I can’t find anywhere what time the gates open. Can’t find on ECB or Worcs website.

One wicket needed

Anybody know what time the gates open for England W v Ireland W @WorcsCCC tomorrow as can’t find anything on the website?

How on earth have @SomersetWomen won that game. Herculean effort with Yorkshire requiring 10 runs to win with 4 wickets left and a shed full of overs! Brilliant result!

Two @CliftonRobbies players received their Welsh caps on Saturday: Fionnuala McCarthy (now Furmston) and Elen Barnes (Mumford). We were also joined by a third player, previously capped in Lynda Watkins.

The @Gloscricket supporters will be rain dancing own Durham all night!

Just been one of those wet horrible days at Lord’s today.

Fantastic day at the Cheltenham Festival today with surely our greatest ever batsman Zaheer, Mike Brearley, Roger Knight, Mark Alleyne, Fred Rumsey, Roland Butcher and many more. Many thanks to Stephen Chalke for organising!

Just been listening to Cooke and Pujara on @bbctms talking about Joe Root - fascinating insight. The cut then from this to the men’s 💯 was like moving from Shakespeare to Pantomime. The shorter forms do have their place but they will never prompt discussions like this one.

I don’t know if it was shown or mentioned on the media @TrentBridge today but @root66 went out early and spent time chatting to a young flag bearer. It’s typical of Joe - a true role model and probably a moment that youngster will never forget.

Another big win on the road for @CliftonRobbies W1s! Another goal from Evie G. Well done everybody!

Congratulations to @HockeyWales men for qualifying for the World Cup. The last 9 minutes were agony to watch and it always looked it would be a tight game. Skill, grit, effort, belief all on evidence throughout the competition- well done all.

That was an unbelievable performance by @HockeyWales men to beat Scotland 5-0, needing to win by 3 clear goals, and progress to the semi final of the WCQ. That will go down as one of their best turnarounds in history - awesome and well done!

Heather Knight out - last 5 overs and England middle order collapsing again. Make sure you take 1 every ball and then put the bad ball away - not playing with their brains.

all a bit confusing. The county cricket season has finished, players want to play less but lots of news coming out of players going to the USA, Middle East, other tournaments. So does getting more money in these mean tiredness suddenly disappears or is it all smoke/mirrors.

What a way for 3 11 year olds to have their first full day at a County Championship day. Thanks you to all the ⁦@Gloscricket⁩ and ⁦@lancscricket_⁩ who signed and had photos with them at beautiful Cheltenham - brill day for them.
