One thing I did dislike that made me step away from that side of the vtubing sphere is exactly what he said pretty much. The victim mentality. Surrounding myself with others that had that mindset eventually had me thinking the same. "Oh I won't have a community because I'm black. Oh I can't grow because I'm black. This stream/video/short/reel/tiktok didn't do good because I'm black. If I had a white model, it wouldve!!"
All that shit ever did was give me an excuse to not look deeper or dive into anything analytical. I've seen many black vtubers, streamers, creators succeed. But again they are the ones that aren't making being black their entire identity. Nothing wrong with being proud of your race but once you start using it as an excuse for other things in life, you're already setting yourself down a stagnant path.
