Més de 1.400 persones inscrites en la quarta edició d’#EntreDones a #SantPau, una jornada que ha tornat a posar al centre la salut femenina des de l’embaràs fins a la menopausa. 💜
Una trobada de divulgació, conversa i aprenentatge compartit per abordar la salut amb perspectiva de sexe i gènere, de la mà de professionals, experts i testimonis.
Durant la jornada s’han tractat temes com les malalties autoimmunitàries, la salut mental, la depressió postpart, l’osteoporosi, els TCA o el benestar, amb col·loquis, tallers i activitats participatives per apropar el coneixement científic a la ciutadania.
I, per segon any consecutiu, l’Entre Nenes ha obert un espai per despertar la curiositat dels infants sobre salut, ciència i gènere, sembrant preguntes i coneixement des de ben petits.

Ahir, l’IR #SantPau va acollir la presentació del nou pla estratègic 2026-2030 de l’Associació CADASIL Espanya (@CadasilEspana) a l'antic convent de Sant Pau🧠
🎯El nou pla s’anomena “Dibuixant el futur” i serà el full de ruta que marcarà les prioritats de l’associació per als propers quatre anys.
🔬L’acte va comptar amb la participació del Dr. Albert Lleó, cap del Servei de Neurologia de l’Hospital de Sant Pau, que va destacar el compromís del seu equip amb la recerca en #CADASIL, una línia liderada per la Dra. Elena Muiño (@CADASIL_Gen).
🚀A més, va subratllar la importància de seguir impulsant el coneixement en malalties minoritàries per avançar en el #diagnòstic i el tractament.
🤝🏽Per la seva part, el Dr. Jordi Surrallés (@JSurralles), director de l’IR Sant Pau, va ressaltar la col·laboració estreta amb les associacions de pacients: una aliança clau per convertir la #recerca en un impacte real i alineada amb les seves necessitats.
👥La jornada també va comptar amb la presència de Gloria Gálvez, del Departament de Salut de la Generalitat de Catalunya (@gencat), reforçant el suport institucional en aquest tipus d’iniciatives.

Introducing Hairui Wang (@Harry001004), PhD Student on our team at @IRSantPau. Originally from Shandong (China), he spent 7 years in Beijing completing his Bachelor’s and Master’s.
Outside the lab, he enjoys hiking and music 🎧.

To mark #RareDiseaseDay, we held a #CADASIL awareness and outreach event at @HospitalSantPau with @CadasilEspana, focusing on raising understanding and supporting research as the way to move ahead.
Our PI @israelcadenas1 and @LaiaLlucia, predoctoral researcher in our group, took part in #BiostrokeMeeting2026 🧠
Israel presented the International Stroke Genetics Consortium, of which we are part, and connected with other members of the Stroke team at @IRSantPau .
🎢🔬 For #InternationalDayofWomenandGirlsinScience, our group ran a DNA workshop at @parctibidabo, extracting DNA from a fruit 🍓 and showing little curious minds that science can be fun & inspiring ✨.
