Happy Independence Day 🇲🇻
Often we speak of the sacrifices that won our independence, but rarely discuss those sacrifices. Beyond the generalisations lies a far more compelling story.

Complex bills can be passed by the People’s Majlis within days.
My complainant of 12 June 2024, took over 2 yrs to receive a response, despite a follow-up letter after 6 mnths.

Scrolled through the headlines…
The headlines may be overwhelming, but we must continue to believe in the power of hope, kindness, and positive change.
This day in 2004 marked a defining moment in the security sphere: the transition of policing from military to civilian domain.
As we mark that milestone, institutional efficacy remains a concern. Hope meaningful steps are taken to strengthen its standing.
If there’s anything I can blame work for, it’s my running. 😅 Haven’t been active this year, so I’m trying to change that—starting today.
Kicked off with a 5K morning run. Not fast, no rhythm, 100m walk in between, but it happened.
Day 1. Let’s see how long this lasts.

NOW - Human Rights Watch chief says we are living in "a new world order," no longer governed by "UN, the Security Council, treaties, norms and laws," calls out U.S. sending migrants to Africa, it "sends a message, to scare off other migrants," and is "really inhumane treatment."
Warm greetings on our #NationalDay, marked to commemorate the liberation from Portuguese occupation.
May we honour the courage and resilience of those who defended our sovereignty, and carry forward their legacy with unity, pride and an enduring commitment to our nation.
You can invent whatever stories you wish. But a fabricated allegation does not become a fact simply because you say it, or because it is repeated. Your claims lack an ounce of truth.
I have served in public office with a clear conscience, and I leave with nothing to hide.
“I’ll leave my 46,000 MVR plus pension, state minister job. What I won’t leave is the 11 million MVR Oxiqa deal with PG. Our family deserves that 11 million MVR. I won’t get a job in Australia but with that money I can live in Australia” - @Phairoosch
After careful consideration, I’ve decided to resign from my position. I believe this is the right time to bring this chapter of my public service to a close.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve & esp to the colleagues & institutions with whom I had the privilege of working
Problem making skills is abundant, not problem solving skills. What’s the root of this problem? I don’t know.
