During Friday nightβs Milton vs. Battle Ground game, this player was immediately ejected following this celebration.
According to sources, officials characterized the gesture as βshooting his opponents with gunsβ and called it βunsafe and inexcusable.β
NFHS specifically addresses threatening gestures, including simulated gun-type gestures, as unsportsmanlike conduct.
That carries a 15-yard penalty for the first offense, and you get tossed after the second one.
So the question is simple:
What made THIS an immediate ejection for the @TSSAA?
The decision cost this senior the remainder of Friday nightβs game and will now cost him the next game as well.

This by far was one of the toughest games @AtchisonSheldon competed in thus far, these boys were ranked high at the national level and the kid still managed to obtained, stamina, strength, and resilience! Grateful for this experience with his team!
