Several amazing papers recently on dopamine’s role in food and drug motivation. Yet most focus on striatal DA. Not us! We probed dorsal BNST dopamine’s role in sign and goal tracking using GRABDA during Pavlovian approach, RPE, satiety etc. Check it out!

Come work with me! Washington College is hiring a two-year VAP in Counseling Psychology. Feel free to DM me with any questions. Job ad here: paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.…
Beyond happy to announce I've accepted a tenure-track position at Washington College! My time here as a contingent faculty has been incredibly rewarding, but deleting the "visiting" from my bio felt amazing.
I need your operant chamber advice/recommendations! With Coulbourn Instruments products being discontinued, my current setup suddenly isn't going to last forever. What has worked well for you? Working with a liberal arts budget, so economy is a plus.
Are you (or someone you know) looking for a behavioral neuro lab tech or post-bac? I have a wonderful student graduating in May that I'd love to put in you in touch with!
Very happy to have brought our lab's inaugural conference poster to @PavlovSociety. It was tough to let go and not hover, but I couldn't be prouder of my wonderful (Twitterless) students! Also let me know if you're looking for an excellent grad student or post-bac... #Pavlovian22

This is a great idea--please add your opportunities to this thread! I have a few fantastic students looking for tech positions closely monitoring this conversion.
Collab with the (#twitterless) Quinn Lab is out! Here we provide evidence that strong emotional memories are capable of undergoing reconsolidation--but only following weakening of memory expression via extinction.

Proud of the team led by @sarakeefer33 for asking these questions and laying a foundation to tease apart brain systems contributing to timing- and tracking- specific differences in Pavlovian behavior. frontiersin.org/articles/10.…

Just registered for #SfN19 and paid $420 (regular member). What are we provided that is worth $420 during this meeting? @SfNtweets, any comments on what this money is used for? I hope it is largely used to provide travel grants for those who cannot afford. #PriceIsTooHigh
