Beautiful cover image for @NDTsocial created by Austrian children. The @ERAkidney Congress is not only about visiting new cities but also about leaving a legacy and raising awareness. In Vienna, we did it through school activities and CKD testing outside the congress venue.

New work from @NishantaTangir1 @ErandiHewawasam and our @preg_kidney_aus team using @ANZDATARegistry linked to perinatal datasets. Can use this data to guide deliver planning in women with #pregnancy after #kidneytransplant
Factors influencing high cesarean section rates among mothers with a kidney transplant remain unclear. This study found that women with a kidney transplant have higher rates of cesarean sections delivery even after accounting for maternal factors, preterm delivery and past cesarean sections compared to non-KRT cohorts.

Thanks for this wonderful feature on the #placenta and for covering our work and others trying to improve #pregnancy health @uclaobgynedu @UCLAHealth @DrugDiscovNews
For an organ essential to life, scientists know surprisingly little about the placenta.
Now, by leveraging advances in spatial biology, researchers like @yafshar @UCLAHealth, @yaojj02 @DukeU, and Roser Vento-Tormo @sangerinstitute unravel its secrets.
