Flood ready communities: 37 community groups across Baidoa, Berdale and Diinsoor are taking action to prepare for potential flooding.
Community members are identifying flood risks, agreeing on local solutions and working together to create floodwater diversion channels. Through their collective efforts, they are taking practical steps to reduce flood risks and protect lives, homes and livelihoods.
This initiative is part of the #AARAN Project, with funding from @UKinSomalia.
