So many young people were mis-sold that absolute dog of a scheme called a Lifetime ISA, and now resent (at best) or (more likely) detest this useless government. Over £18m (so far) has been skimmed off savers’ money in withdrawal charges. The opposite of helping to buy.
Your country is in a state of emergency on multiple fronts. Who do you call? Rushi Sunak? Keir Starmer? Santa?
I think he is an arrogant arse.
I never watch him.
I honestly think Piers Morgan crossed a red line last night.
As Muslims we have always debated the pros and cons of appearing on his show and there are good arguments on either side. We also have no issue with him rigourously disagreeing with our beliefs and asking very difficult questions.
But tagging employers into discussions and trying to get people sacked from day jobs because of their personal views is just plain nasty.
I think it's time Muslims boycotted his show and withdrew all cooperation from him. What do you think?
🙄
. @campbellclaret accuses Green Party of "nastiness" for publishing a list of MPs who did not vote for a ceasefire and says it is 'intimidating' behaviour and draws comparisons with the killings of Jo Cox and David Amess

I have spent the last week in Cape Town and reflecting on the current situation in Gaza and the West Bank. Visiting Robben Island and reading about the detailed history of South Africa and Apartheid and speaking to some of the members of his government.
"The Long Walk to Freedom" which I hope the Palestinians can also be afforded. We need to keep raising our collective voices for an end to apartheid and the massacre. #CeasefireNOW

Dr Swee Ang founder of @MedicalAidPal talks about the current conflict and the desperate conditions of the main hospitals. Swee witnessed at first hand, the atrocities of the Sabra and Shatila massacres in Lebanon in 1982.

We must be honest.
No-one feels safe in the UK today.
We must be honest.
The Jewish community does not feel safe in the UK today.
This must change.
I made clear to @CST_UK, @JLC_uk and @BoardofDeputies that I will do everything in my power to protect Jewish people in the UK.
Hating what the Israeli Govt is doing is NOT hating Jews! It seems to some that one can’t recoil at the actions of a government without hating its people. Utter nonsense.

Agreed, but no-one seems to be listening to M. Macron.

The call for a ceasefire is a moral cry for humanity to find another way to achieve justice, security and peace for Israelis and Palestinians.
The bloodshed must cease, hostages must be released, and aid must reach those in dire need.
In Christ’s name, we cry from our hearts: “No more. This killing must stop.”

Congratulations to The Rt Hon David Cameron. And his job is so much more straightforward now that the country he represents is ignored, ridiculed or despised overseas.Shame that, because the British are quite nice really.
Remember these (from Nolan)?

Have you followed the COVID-19 Inquiry?
Are you proud of Westminster and Whitehall?
Acceptable to recoil at an awful government yet bear no malice toward its people.
Mrs Bravernan has to go. Quickly. Actually all of them should go. Sadly, when they do, all of the arrogance, entitlement and deception we see in Westminster and Whitehall will be our lasting hangover.
Thank you
For those of you who have never had the opportunity to visit Gaza and meet the wonderful Palestinians let me share some of my images from my visits over the last 10 years to support healthcare. Gaza has the most amazing sunsets that I often spent time just looking at from the Roots hotel. I am not sure whether we will ever be able to go again.
