The Justice Department says their so-called transportation company never drove anyone anywhere.
They billed up to $13 million and walked away with about a million dollars of your money.
Prosecutors say they blew it on $4,500 handbags on Fifth Avenue and $1,500 sweaters while using homeless people as props in the scheme.
The wife was reportedly coaching her husband on how to keep the fraud going from prison.
One of the defendants was a Colombian national who got a visa in December 2024, and DOJ says he started stealing almost the second he arrived, then billed taxpayers for a trip around the world.
That's the Biden visa pipeline at work, and Americans paid for every bit of it.
Lock them up, and anyone here on a visa who steals from this country should be thrown out the minute their sentence is over.
