Just been to see NAZA.
For those of you who are of the opinion that ‘it’s complicated’ you’ll find out that it isn’t. It’s Genocide. The intent is blatant.
Go see it.
Nicely phrased Barry. Is this the best that the British State broadcaster can find to debate with Faisa??
“Hello and welcome to Newsnight. Tonight, we’re joined by Faiza Shaheen, director of Tax Justice UK. Faiza is an economist and a Visiting Professor of Practice at the London School of Economics. Faiza’s previous roles include Program Head for the Inequality and Exclusion Grand Challenge of the Pathfinders for Peaceful, Just and Inclusive Societies at the Center on International Cooperation at New York University, Director of the Centre for Labour and Social Studies, Head of Inequality and Sustainable Development at Save the Children, and Senior Researcher at the New Economics Foundation. Faiza holds a PhD and MSc from the University of Manchester and a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from St John’s College, Oxford University.
She is the author of a range of materials and publications covering the most salient social and economic debates of our times, including inequality, austerity, immigration, and social mobility. Faiza has over 15 years of experience researching the trends and consequences of inequality, as well as designing policies and campaigns to address the causes of inequality and exclusion. Her book, ‘Know your place: How society sets us up to fail and what we can do about it’ was published in July 2023 by Simon & Schuster.
To speak over her, we’ve invited Winston Marshall, a podcaster and former member of Mumford and Sons.
We hope you enjoy the programme.”

Replying to @IDF
I was a combat soldier in an elite IDF unit. I served in the West Bank and witnessed firsthand how settlers could do whatever they wanted with impunity.
Today I’m the Executive Director of ״Breaking the Silence״ an organization that has collected thousands of testimonies from Israeli soldiers over the past two decades.
And I can say with certainty that this statement by IDF spokesperson is a lie. The IDF is not trying to stop Jewish terrorism in the occupied territories. In fact, it protects Jewish terrorists and arms them with US-made M16 rifles.
If the IDF genuinely wanted to stop Jewish terrorism, the Chief of Staff could simply order the 30,000 soldiers stationed in the West Bank to carry out arrests. It’s that simple.

Where are the UK’s leading literary figures? Why are they not defiantly condemning the silencing of Sally Rooney?
Their SILENCE now and for three long years in the face of a Western backed GENOCIDE is odious, vile and profoundly shameful
Pusillanimous cowards
You could not make it up. The Labour grandees have been in the pocket of Israel for decades it seems
This is Jennifer Gerber. She was @AndyBurnham’s principal adviser during his 3 ministerial roles from 2007-10
After Labour lost the 2010 election, she became executive director of Israeli embassy front group "Labour Friends of Israel" (LFI). She would stay in the role for a decade, playing a leading role in the campaign to destroy pro-Palestinian Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn from 2015-19
Gerber is still listed as a director of LFI on Companies House
Andy Burnham was funded by LFI and Israeli Foreign Ministry in 2004 to go on a propaganda tour of Israel. The then chair of LFI was James Purnell. Burnham recently appointed Purnell as his chief of staff in No 10
At the LFI leadership hustings in 2015, Burnham said that Israel would be the first place he visited if he won the Labour leadership race. The year after, Burnham joined LFI
The lobby has the whole political class sewn up

Friendly reminder to use the term "Ansarallah" instead of "Houthis."
The term "Houthi (rebels)" is used by imperialists to diminish & belittle the AnsarAllah movement and is deemed somewhat disrespectful to the resilient people of Yemen.

People think I’m being flippant, but I’m really not. The UK isn’t a country or independent nation because of Brexit. We are a rock in the Atlantic owned by the US and Israel.

I'm the only Jewish leader of a political party.
I'm a victim of Antisemitism every day and I've made it clear Jewish people are welcome in my party.

Let's turn this around for the BBC's Nick Robinson.
"Do you think the state of Israel – as a state illegally occupying and oppressing Palestinians, as determined by the world's highest court, and one deemed to be committing genocide according to legal and academic authorities – has a right to exist?"
Is that a difficult or easy question to answer, Nick?
