Interesting ... Just tried to buy a physical 10oz silver bar at $TD ... Nothing in inventory, 15 days to order, nothing at other locations...

#Gentile seems to favour Canadian explorers/developers with scalable deposits, strong management and insider ownership. Infrastructure, metallurgy and capital discipline matter. Buy early, fund progress and aim for a major rerating or takeover.
the main issue with investing in mining related companies is that most investors confuse leverage to metal price with management properly allocating capital

minute 28 .. leveraged product ... best performing listed instrument, to my knowledge, in metals/mining (designed for exactly this):
this is why you own royalties, and rent producers. producers underperform the metal through the cycle, royalty cos outperform it. in terms of share price/gold, it looks as if there is much upside, but in market cap (adjusting for new share issuance) we're only about 30% from the top. for those not expert in the space, royalty cos are the best way to get exposure to precious metals

If one believes that ultimately the US debt will be papered over via the printing press, today will be an excellent day to buy metals related stocks. Might be a good day tomorrow, too, who knows, but today is looking like a 5-10% bogo sale shaping up
