We're heading to @AASLDtweets The Liver Meeting 2026 in Denver, November 5 to 9. Eleven members of the Perspectum team will be at #TLM26, presenting five posters and one oral presentation. You'll find us at booth #1055. For clinicians: see how LiverMultiScan supports non-invasive liver health assessment, with quantified metrics for liver disease activity (cT1), liver fat fraction (PDFF) and liver iron concentration to inform clinical decisions across diagnosis, treatment and monitoring. For pharma and clinical development teams: talk to us about quantitative liver imaging biomarkers in liver disease trials, from screening and enrichment through to measuring change over time. To book time with the team at the booth, email Pharma.Business[email protected]. We'll share more on what we're presenting in the coming weeks. #Perspectum #AASLD #TLM26 #Hepatology #LiverDisease

Cardiovascular, kidney, liver and metabolic disease rarely develop in isolation. So how do you design a single trial that captures endpoints across all of them? That question sits at the heart of MOSAIC 2026, the multi-specialty trialists' forum on cardio-kidney-liver-metabolic (CKLM) disease. Perspectum is a proud sponsor of this year's meeting, and our team will be in the room. On Monday, October 26, Andrea Dennis, SVP Translational Science, speaks in the session "How to design a single trial with multiple CKLM endpoints? Methodology and statistical toolkits." Multi-organ imaging. The UK Imaging Diabetes Study 4:00–4:10 pm ET Andrea will be joined by Carlos Duncker, Senior Medical Director. If you're attending, they'd welcome a conversation on endpoints, imaging and trial design. For those designing CKLM trials: which endpoint is hardest to align across specialties? #Perspectum #MASH #ClinicalTrials

Best Poster at the 12th Paris MASH Meeting went to our digital pathology team. Congratulations to lead author Dylan Windell and everyone behind the work! MASH is a form of steatotic liver disease, where fat build-up comes with inflammation and liver damage. Trials of new MASH treatments depend on pathologists scoring liver biopsy slides. So the team asked a simple question: do AI measurements agree with what the experts see? In biopsy slides from 156 people with MASLD or MASH, PAIR™ MASH measurements agreed with scores from two expert pathologists: fibrosis (scarring, rho 0.78), fat (rho 0.67), ballooning (rho 0.62) and inflammation (rho 0.41). Many people know us for imaging. Fewer know we also have a experienced pathology team that provides central histology reads for over 10 active phase 2 and 3 clinical trials. There's more to come at The Liver Meeting in November. #Perspectum #MASH #DigitalPathology#Perspectum #MASH #DigitalPathology

Cardiovascular disease rarely occurs on its own. It develops alongside the conditions that influence it: type 2 diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and liver fat that accumulates silently for years. That is why cardiovascular risk is increasingly understood as cardiometabolic risk. People living with MASLD (metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease), for example, carry a higher risk of cardiovascular disease. The information that matters for the heart may not always be found in the heart alone. This World Heart Day, look at the whole system, not one organ. At Perspectum, we build quantitative imaging technology for exactly this: a whole-system view of cardiometabolic health. #Perspectum #WorldHeartDay #CardiometabolicHealth #HeartHealth #LiverHealth

The fat your BMI does not show. In 75,331 UK Biobank participants, people with more visceral fat on MRI were more likely to develop type 2 diabetes, independent of BMI. A single L3 slice showed a similar association to the whole-abdomen measurement. Presented at EASD 2026, Tue 30 Sep, 11:45 CEST.

Two patients can lose the same amount of weight and end up in very different physiological states. One loses visceral and ectopic fat. The other loses skeletal muscle. We integrate MRI body composition into obesity and cardiometabolic trials to characterise the quality of weight loss. We are proud to announce that Principal Cardiovascular Scientist Masliza Mahmod was awarded Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC) in Munich, pictured here with Prof Marco Roffi, ESC Vice President. The Fellowship recognises the highest professional standards and commitment to reducing the burden of cardiovascular disease, alongside sustained contribution to the Society. Masliza has spent her career in cardiovascular medicine, research and imaging, with particular expertise in cardiac and metabolic imaging. Seeing that recognised by her peers meant a great deal to all of us. #Perspectum #ESCCongress #Cardiology #CVRM #ClinicalTrials #CardiacMRI

What can a single scan tell us about liver health in cancer surveillance? Quantitative MRI (qMRI) has been studied extensively in Western cohorts, but until now, there has been limited evidence of its use in surveillance of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), which is more prevalent in Asian populations. Results from the imaging arm of the ELEGANCE study were recently published in BMC Gastroenterology and reported on 769 participants with chronic liver disease who underwent HCC surveillance in Singapore. What did the scans show? In patients with Hepatitis B, Perspectum's qMRI identified concurrent steatotic liver disease in more than 40% of participants In patients with metabolic dysfunction associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) , Perspectum's qMRI suggested 31% also had metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH) – a more active form of the disease with liver inflammation and injury Across patients with different underlying causes of liver disease, cirrhosis was associated with elevated iron-corrected T1, reduced liver fat, spleen enlargement and caudate hypertrophy. When these imaging features were combined, they were able to identify the patients with cirrhosis in the MASLD cohort (AUC 0.88) Importantly, an exploratory analysis found that the same imaging could distinguish participants who would go on to receive a HCC diagnosis from those who did not. Why does this matter? A single non-contrast MRI scan could provide a much richer picture of your liver health. It can characterise disease activity, fat, iron and organ structure. These measurements can help clinicians better understand disease burden, and could potentially identify which people need closer monitoring for liver cancer.
