Since Jan 2025 there has been a huge interior push to counter crime in our nation. A surge in law enforcement cooperation and activation, more 287(g) agreements, and federal task forces in cities like D.C. and Memphis. Not solely focused on immigration, though that is a large portion of it, but also more broadly on organized crime. Federal law enforcement has achieved a significant number of arrests in that same period: FBI Most Wanted captures, ~54k violent-crime arrests, ~31k gang-member arrests, 5k+ child-predator/trafficking arrests, 130+ counterintelligence arrests, higher cyber and ransomware cases, plus multi-ton fentanyl seizures and tens of thousands of illegal guns taken off the street. ICE interior arrests are at a modern high—about 50k in a single month this summer, several times the pre-2025 daily pace. Violent crime fell 9.3% in 2025, the largest one-year drop in the FBI series. The murder rate is at a 70-year low. Stats for the first half of 2026 indicate many of these trends are continuing. And there's so much more good news on this front. Law and order is not a vibe. It's not a perp walk of whatever special bogeyman a podcaster or outrage merchant told you must happen. It's not your political opponent being taken down. It is probable cause backed arrests, then cases built on evidence, followed by sentences that result in fewer criminals on the streets. LAW AND ORDER. You can’t Make America Great Again without it.
