Not possible to recognize all who deserve it, but I deeply appreciate Senators @MarkoLiias @Dhingrama @Yasminsvoice @dsfrockt @senpattykuderer Pedersen and others. Thank you to the Alliance for Gun Responsibility, Grandmothers Against Gun Violence, WA Ceasefire -- a huge victory!
The Washington State Senate chose public safety over the gun lobby tonight. The Senate passed legislation banning the sale of high-capacity magazines.
The data is overwhelming. This bill will save lives.
Thank you.

Councilmember-Elect Perry visited District 2 tonight! Can’t wait to welcome the *new* most junior member of the Council in a few weeks 🤗
We got a lotta work to do @PerryElect
I was pleased to receive a call from Kathy Lambert on Sunday conceding the election. I’d like to thank Kathy for her service to the county and state, and wish her the best. Looking forward to working with all on transit, the environment, housing and more. Let’s get to work!
Thank you @RepDrewHansen!
Thank you! We couldn't have done it without the support of great organizations like @emilyslist.

Next update will be 4 pm tomorrow.
More updates to come after we learn more on Thursday at 4:30. For now, thank you for everything large and small that you’ve done to help this community-powered campaign.
It appears that voters in the district agree that it’s time for a change, and I couldn’t be more thrilled, and honored, to have the privilege of serving KCD3 residents.
Thank you so much for your amazing support of our campaign over the last 10 months -- it’s been an incredible journey together to effect change in District 3! While there are still many votes left to count, we are feeling confident after the release of the initial results.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! - Sarah
P.S. And, of course, please VOTE at your local dropbox by 8pm tonight, if you haven’t already :) -- click here to find yours: kingcounty.gov/depts/electio…
This has truly been a group effort, and I am honored that you would choose to be a part of it for the change it can bring to our democracy. I am deeply aware that we would not be right where we are today without you.
Hundreds of volunteers have given thousands of hours talking with 30K+ voters at their doors, 5K+ voters by phone, 49K by text and over 1K folks have contributed a total of $325K to the campaign, all told.
Whether in the beginning, throughout, or starting right now... I am just floored by the support for our community-powered campaign and what we’ve accomplished together.
I just want to take a moment to say thank you. I find myself filled with gratitude this Election Day to have earned your support and participation in ways large and small over the last 10 months.
