I don't talk about the brand very much because I like to treat this account as a safe space to talk about oral health... BUT, I have been working on a new product for the last year and a half... and it's ready. We have a few tucked away to give away for our top creators but I begged @CalvinandNOBS to let me give some away to the X family. What is it? It's a microbiome balancer disguised as a breath mint. It looks and tastes like a breath mint but it's much more. Why did I make it? There is so much time for things to go wrong during the day between your morning and evening routine, and I found a cool way to make it an opportunity for things to go right. Ok so what does it actually do though? We call the formula FloraShift, and the name is very intentional. So many of us are walking around with an imbalance. The same type that can make you have IBS, acid reflux, a yeast infection can also happen in the mouth. This presents as bad breath, gum disease, cavities. We're even finding oral bacteria implicated in cancer, dementia and heart attacks. Oral dysbiosis causes a LOT of problems. Now, a mint won't solve that by itself but it *can* help nudge you in the right direction. FloraShift a symphony of ingredients chosen with the goal of restoring balance... encouraging the commensal and symbiotic bacteria, while curbing harmful bacteria. Not just thinking about what we can get rid of (like most products that just sterilize). Thinking about what we actually want to thrive: Xylitol: Starves cavity causing bacteria, stimulates saliva Beta-cyclodextrin: Plant-starch that will trap odor but more importantly impacts bacterial communication (quorum-quenching activity), interfering with bacterial chemical signaling. That communication can coordinate behaviors like biofilm formation. Basically a signal jammer for the bad bacteria. Magnesium citrate: Competition within the biofilm. Helping the bacteria we want hold their ground, and makes it harder for the pathogenic bacteria to hold on. L-arginine: Put useful bacteria to work. Certain mouth bacteria use it to produce acid-neutralizing compounds. Research also shows effects on biofilm structure and competition between health-associated and cavity-associated bacteria. Potassium bicarbonate: Buffer acid directly. A separate approach to acidity that doesn't depend on bacteria processing an ingredient first. It complements the bacterial route behind arginine. Potassium nitrate: The oral/systemic connection. Provides nitrate that certain mouth bacteria convert into nitrite, part of a pathway your body uses to make nitric oxide. Nitrate is also being studied for its effects on oral microbial communities. Zinc acetate: Odor chemistry and biofilm activity. Binds sulfur compounds involved in bad breath rather than just covering them up. Zinc also has laboratory evidence for antimicrobial and anti-biofilm activity. Peppermint + spearmint oils: More than the mint taste. They bring the flavor and aroma, but also have laboratory research behind their antimicrobial and anti-biofilm effects. So when I say FloraShift, I'm talking about the whole approach...What bacteria eat. How they communicate. How they compete. The biofilms they live in. The compounds they produce. That's what we @nobsroutines wanted to account for when making this. Not just some generic probiotic and calling it a day. Anyway, I have 20ish (maybe more) to give away. All I ask is that you comment with something that has helped your oral health, or even a problem you're currently struggling with. A share would be cool but not a requirement.

There were actually chicks and dudes that looked like them at this event. I saw the pictures. Judges should be investigated!

Studios need to take chances on $3-10mil movies and stop shoving books into $40+million budgets unless it’s directed by an actual auteur. I loved JoJo Rabbit and the first Thor he did but an auteur Waititi is not. Also let’s stop assuming actors sell tickets anymore.
At a time when the box office is rebounding, and embracing auteur-driven fare (i.e. Christopher Nolan’s near $1.8B grossing The Odyssey) as well as originality (a three-hour documentary about a delusional, scandalous tech titan called You Can See Everything), the star studded Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams starring Klara and the Sun failed to shine with a $701K domestic opening last weekend. The movie, booked at 880 locations, posted a theater average that was less than $800. Read More: deadline.com/2026/10/klara-a…

CHANI IS SUPPOSED TO BE RIDE OR DIE. It’s fine I still love the movies.
Replying to @DmcDT
I hope I'm wrong! I hope this is just typical Hollywood trailer shenanigans. I loved the first film and enjoyed the 2nd, with some big Chani-related caveats, and I deeply want this to be an incredible scifi movie. But I do have concerns.

The ep where Herr Starr murders all the Hare Krishnas, like I get why they all have guns, but it’s like, the character is so much more sinister than that it would be a better arc for him if they had no means of defense. The world of “everyone is a capable killer” is tiring.
Scene in Preacher where an old Creole woman mixes magnesium, zinc, mercury and what looks like methylene blue in a bullet blender and puts it down someone’s throat to “heal them” Great liminal space/purgatory scene on the ends of that

Saw a band last night with a lady friend who told me there were allegations and fallout and she was like "IIWII, he's made amends and been better as a person, still love em" told another lady friend i saw them "i could never listen to a band with allegations" Duality

I liked both a lot and this take is bad.
It is increasingly striking, that maybe through clairvoyance or coincidence, DIGGER lampoons the exact audience for YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING. The two movies aren't so much in conversation as confrontation. I wonder if anyone loves both unequivocally.

What do these terrorists want with my 24-hr urine collections and DHT numbers?!?!
🚨MAJOR BREAKING: Quest Diagnostics, one of America’s largest medical testing companies serving roughly half of U.S. physicians and hospitals, has confirmed a cybersecurity breach involving unauthorized access to patient medical records through its Quanum laboratory system. The company discovered the intrusion October 21 and has notified federal law enforcement.

“Dessa how many times have I shit today?” “An amount that is not weird, Paul.” “Dessa?” “Yes, Paul?” “Read me all my favorite lines from There Will Be Blood.” “I have a competition-“ “In Daniel Plainview’s voice.” “I have a competition in me…”
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

In the film industry we get to SAY an hour number but it’s really half that cause for every minute you work you spend another minute waiting for something to happen so we can say “16 hour days” and it’s like a regular work day.
My cognition drops off sharply after hour 10 of hard focused work that I basically lose executive function and feel like I have 60 iq. I don’t believe a single person who claims to work beyond 8-10 hours; it’s probably mostly larp.

What’s really preventing me from enjoying Preacher is that I know Herr Starr is about to show up and I don’t care about the back stories I just want him to show up. Him being the first thing I saw may have ruined the whole show for me.

Inherent Vice if you want to feel more high. The Master if you want to enjoy something while high. There Will Be Blood if you want to be on the edge of your high seat. Phantom Thread if you like seeing and hearing beautiful things while high. Magnolia. Punch Drunk Love.

The best movie genre is thriller. It encompasses so many things: you’ve got erotic, psychological, crime, slow burn, action, legal, political...you have all these thrillers.

I have an AI agent that logs every negative comment someone makes about me online. It then creates a profile of the person, maps all of their social connections, and finds all their emails. Tomorrow morning, my AI agent will sent out an email blast to everyone's extended social network, detailing the horrible things they've said about me.
