17 year-old Joey cooks for his family of five every night. His mother had been ill for a very long time and so he took over cooking duties while his father worked 12 to 13 hours a day. Sadly, his mother passed away on August 7.
He’s a remarkable young man and his goal is to one day go to school for a culinary arts. ❤️

I hear ya... this coyote here is very brave... he doesn't even spook when I move towards where he is... he needs to move along or he will meet the business end of something he will not like.
Love this 🤣.... I hate my neighbors chickens at this time in my life. They don't stay anywhere near their coop or their property and wander across the creek (low water) between our properties. They let themselves into my property thru my fencing .
I have dogs who protect my property when they are outside (we have predators) so they chase the stupid chickens and sometimes stupid chicken looses a few feathers. They don't unalive them... just play with them like squeaky toys 😅
Now there is a coyote who has figured out there is a free buffet across the creek from me... so he hangs out by my property and waits for the chickens to cross the creek.
Well of course... chickens are disappearing at an alarming rate and guess who the neighbor blames... you got it... my dogs. (even tho I have pics of the coyote at the buffet)
It's a daily mess... I'm out with my dogs every time now in my Fenced property to make sure the chickens aren't harassed by them... and I get the extra trauma of the hunting coyote leaving piles of feathers behind (it does make me very sad)
There is only one remaining chicken across the way now... poor little thing.... it's really not the stupid chickens fault 😅
So after or if that one becomes breakfast or dinner for Mr. Coyote (he comes 2x a day sometimes)... he will still come around for a week or so and turn his sights on my dogs because there will be no easy meal. 🤦♀️
It's a mess.
We had chickens my whole life when I was growing up... and you know what... I didn't like them then either 🤣
