Had a good day at @redravensBB hitting .750 with 2 2B’s and 1 HR.
Struggled on the mound for one inning but ready to get back in the lab to fix some things before @ACCC_Baseball.

Had a great hitting session with @Coach_Cervantez ! Working with the @HammerHands_ Batting Gloves to help me feel where my hands are throughout my swing. 💪🏻

On Opening Day, Noot presented JJ with his first career homer baseball. Now, Jimmy Crooks presents Quinn Mathews with the game ball from his first career win. Awesome moment. #STLCards

Both swings are at about 80% intent.
What’s almost laughable is how much slower the barrel looks when I try to push it with my hands.
Same intent. Completely different result.

One-legged swings are one of my favorite ways to teach hitters what the back side is actually supposed to do.
By taking the front leg out of the equation, the hitter has to create stability through the back side instead of relying on forward momentum.

Off-season work 💪🥎.
Continuing to put in the reps, make adjustments, and get better every day.
Thank you, @Coach_Cervantez, for all the coaching and support over the years!

Fun on a Friday. Clips from hitting on August 7, 2026.
Started with 45 degree tee work, moved to normal swings off the tee, front toss, then machine.
