🔥Ok System Update! 👌The Phenyx Pro works great though I now wish I had gotten the one with two receivers. ($135). I have signal about 100' away even if going outside. 😡The Zero Red IEMs had issues. ($80) I run a Stage 800 through a Scarlet Solo and use the post out on the amp for my effects. This wireless gets signal direct from the Solo. The Solo is hot so I was trying to attenuate the signal and still be able to hear my volume over the track well. I never quite got them dialed in when the headset broke. The Reds have a very stiff cable that will get caught on anything you get within 3 feet of. The equally stiff earpiece hook would not stay on my ear. So the sound was.... not quite as good as over ear headset but it sounded good. Once... they got hung up one a kitchen drawer handle and were pulled off my ears at which time they exploded upon impact with the floor. The Reds have dual drivers and though not top shelf, are a step above all others sub $80.....or so I thought. Enter the YANGZU Red Lion- A $25 "good enough till I get another pair"... IEM. Single 10mm driver. These blew my mind. The first try, they nearly blew my eardrums as I had them set the same as the Zero Reds. I removed the attenuator I needed with the ZeroRed and cut the volume by 20%...still way out front of the track! The cable is very soft and flexible. This causes them to lay right against me wherever exposed and do not get caught on everything. The ear tips stay on the ear snug and fit into the canal comfortably. The hooks stay tight against the ear. The Zero's were good though not very durable ( they didnt fall hard. just fell on the floor from my ear) and maybe I had a set that was malfunctioning but this $25 set blows them away. They claim "bass enhanced" and that, so far, is a true statement. It's ALL "Chi-tech". In the music field, this is likely the way forward as most non-Chi companies think their sh*t don't stink and leaves golden skid marks on everything they touch. Moral of the story, don't fear cheap crap. Sometimes it's just "inexpensive" with no marketing budget. It's probably also a stolen tech knock off but hey.....a Bro's gotta hear the damn track!😂.....and still afford strings!! That is all...... 😎🤘
