They paid tax when they earned it. They paid tax when they spent it. What remains is theirs.

I appreciate that may be a difficult concept for socialists permanently rummaging through other people’s pockets.
Thank you @FulhamFC supporters + huge thanks to all of you who went to Liverpool today to support the team! Huge thanks to Álvaro
and the Fulham squad & staff + congratulations for keeping a clean sheet away & earning a valuable point today! Have a great weekend! Come on Fulham!

This might be the most backwards golf cliché on the internet.
The straight 200-yard hitter does not beat the wild 300-yard hitter “9 times out of 10.”
It’s actually about the opposite.
Of all the male golfers that average about 200 yards off the tee, I took the most accurate 5% of players from that group. I compared those short hitters to players that hit it about 300 yards off the tee, and I used the least accurate 10% of players from that long hitting group.
It wasn't even close.
Median Handicap Index:
▶️200-yard straight players: 11.3
▶️300-yard wild players: 5.1
The full percentile table of handicap indexes for each group is in the comment below
CONCLUSION:
▶️The 300-yard player will have the better index 81% of the time.
▶️That means the 300-yard player is the better player 8.1 out of 10 times.
****For a player to be included in this analysis they needed at least 50 shots with driver in a given calendar year. These are male players only. This is TOTAL distance, NOT carry distance.

I was saying the other day how the 'darling of the press', Saint Frank of Coventry, is getting a very easy ride.
Unfortunately, the press have been kicking Fulham since the impasse from Silva - at his choosing - seriously hampered Fulham's end of season and pre-season.
Finally - a post, from a journalistic source, that isn't a character assassination or based in utter sensationalism.
We're three games in (aside from the excellent win against AFC Wimbledon, who fought bloody hard) without three points.
Get some perspective.

THREE GAMES. NOT A SEASON. GIVE ARBELOA A CHANCE.
There is a lot of noise around Fulham at the moment.
Three Premier League games.
Three defeats.
And suddenly some people are talking as though Álvaro Arbeloa has been at Craven Cottage for three years and has somehow dismantled everything the club has built.
Let's take a breath.
Yes, losing the opening three league games hurts. Nobody is pretending otherwise.
Yes, the performances need to improve.
And yes, Arbeloa needs to show that his ideas can work in the Premier League.
But this is a new manager, a new system and a squad that has undergone significant change.
What exactly did people expect?
Arbeloa wasn't brought in because Fulham wanted another manager to simply maintain the status quo.
He was brought in because the club saw something in him.
His time at Real Madrid has given him an understanding of elite football, elite standards and what it takes to develop young players. He has worked around some of the best players and coaches in world football.
And now he's trying to translate that experience into Fulham Football Club.
That doesn't happen overnight.
LET THE MANAGER BUILD
We've seen managers come into the Premier League and struggle initially before turning things around.
Football isn't played on a spreadsheet.
A manager needs time to get his ideas across.
Players need time to understand their roles.
New signings need time to settle.
Young players need time to develop.
And supporters need to give the process a chance.
We've already seen glimpses of what Arbeloa wants.
Intensity. Pressing. Energy. Attacking football.
That's exactly the sort of football many Fulham supporters said they wanted.
So let's not decide after three games that it doesn't work.
REMEMBER WHERE WE WERE
We have spent years talking about wanting Fulham to have ambition.
Wanting the club to recruit exciting young players.
Wanting us to compete rather than simply survive.
Wanting us to develop players who could potentially become major assets.
Now the club has taken a different direction and suddenly some supporters want everything ripped up because we haven't won our first three games.
That's football in 2026. Everything is instant.
But Fulham shouldn't operate that way.
THIS IS FULHAM
We are supposed to be different.
We aren't Manchester City.
We aren't Liverpool.
We aren't Real Madrid.
We're Fulham Football Club.
We've seen bad days before.
We've seen relegations.
We've seen managers come and go.
We've watched players arrive who looked completely out of their depth before eventually becoming important players for us.
And we've also watched managers get written off far too quickly.
So let's give Arbeloa something incredibly valuable:
TIME.
Judge him over months, not three matches.
If we're still watching the same problems after a significant period, then absolutely ask questions.
But right now?
The meltdown needs to stop.
Three defeats isn't good enough.
But it also isn't the end of Fulham Football Club.
It's the beginning of a new chapter.
And if Arbeloa is going to build something at Craven Cottage, he needs the supporters behind him while he does it.
BELIEVE IN THE PROCESS
Give Arbeloa time.
Give the players time.
Get behind the team.
Judge the season, not three games.
Because the easiest thing in football is to demand another change.
The difficult thing is to build something properly.
Let's see what Álvaro Arbeloa can do.
COME ON FULHAM!

César's off the mark!
Josh King evades his man with a body feint, drills the ball across goal, and it drops kindly for Palacios to batter home. 🇪🇸
There's an awful lot to unpick here, old fruit.
Let's start with state pension *IS* a benefit...
Please @TonyKhan - am sure this is horseshit - no. A thousand times, no!!!
BTW, hope all goes well at Wembley tonight 👍🏼

Just watching the last ten minutes of #CelebrityMasterchef - apart from not knowing who a single one is, how sycophantic and weak is the 'feedback'?!
Why did nobody mention that the tarragon mayonnaise was an absolute aberration?
Skill in making triple cooked chips or hasselback potatoes? It's a process. Follow the bloody recipe you've been given.
Why do 'celebrity' programmes have to be so dumbed down?
