Finished the day down just -0.07% I’ll call that a win compared to the day I was expecting! Got a few buys in along the way, so all in all, I can’t complain! How did everyone else finish the day?

🇨🇦 Canada’s inflation report came out today. CPI came in at 3.1%, up from 3.0% last month, but below the 3.2% expected! -Gasoline prices jumped 27.8% year over year, pushing inflation higher. -Grocery inflation cooled to 1.7% A mixed report, All eyes on the Bank of Canada’s rate decision October 28. What do you think? Are rate cuts still on the table?

Futures are in the green after last week’s sell-off, but the question is… will they hold? 👀 Dow: +0.17% S&P 500: +0.59% Nasdaq: +1.16% TSX: +0.10% 🛢️ Oil is red this morning, pulling back a little from the weekend highs WTI: -1.60% | $97.44 Brent: -1.89% | $107.78 We NEED lower oil prices! Higher oil costs trickle down into almost everything we buy, putting more pressure on our wallets and adding more to inflation Last week’s inflation numbers came in hotter than expected, and we certainly don’t need oil adding more!
