We need to move away from burning stuff as much a possible. Anything combusted in air emits NO2 air pollution including hydrogen. An internal combustion engine is only 30% efficient. We can’t afford to keep throwing away 70% of the energy.

But in reality the Honda Clarity, Toyota Mirai and Hyundai Nexo hydrogen fuel cell cars are all heavier, slower and way more expensive than the Hyundai Kona, Chevy Bolt and Tesla Model 3 RWD Long Range battery electric cars. There is no evidence that #FCEV is lighter than #BEV.

When just replace your old antiquated 19th fuelling model with something exactly the same you find yourself dependent upon the corporate fuel supply model with all the same price and supply issues. Another reason why battery electric #BEV is dominating hydrogen #FCEV.

This is the umpteenth time in 18 months California had a multi-week outage of hydrogen filling stations. Each time suppliers claim they fixed the problem it happens again. This is an industry that has been supplying commercial customers for decades. Those $20k Mirais? This 👇
