Reviewers sometimes mistakenly ask for 'native English speaker' to help with editing. Reviewers might think this softens the criticism (i.e. its understandable) but this is not how these comments are experienced by authors. Review only the manuscript not the authors. @PeerEdits

EELS has finally been launched! This program will provide COST-FREE language support for authors in the Evolution journal! I am over the moon with this program, and super proud of being a part of this! We are now looking for a language editor, senior folks please apply!

This is a great initiative that is worthy of funding. There is a dearth of pedagogical resources for biodiversity researchers/conservation biologists who don't speak English (who are working in the most biodiverse places)
