Mangetout on Old Hall Street is 5 mins away from this. It’s mostly female staff, no AI slop, foods banging and the prices are great. Go there. Fuck this place

Confuses Socialism with Totalitarian Communism and sits in the House of Lords. Blinking flip.
It’s why I’m so anti socialism… I spent my youth travelling the eastern block (taking tights, make ups & magazines for my main Russia rivals who I made friends with). Socialism lies about what it delivers, it pulled everyone DOWN to the lowest dominator. Removing inspiration & aspiration. AND growth. Replacing it with the Stasi, the loss of free speech, & putting those in power who ultimately rule by fear. Look to countries that have gone down this route. And believe in history.

In case you’re wondering about the sudden royal helicopter tour, Charles then William now Kate, the court reporters would rather you didn’t clock it.
They’ve taken delivery of 2 brand new Leonardo AW139s. Fresh paint. Fresh blades. Fresh taxpayer bill.
While they were at it the Sovereign Grant jumped more than 50% to £132 million a year.
So the slimmed down monarchy now costs more than the full circus, and the people who lecture you about plastic bags just got 2 new helicopters.
Save the planet. After takeoff. #AbolishTheMonarchy

The apostrophe goes in front of a decade, not between the numbers and the S. It stands in for the additional two digits, so 1970s becomes '70s.

Absolutely loved my first trip to @WeHaveWaysPod Fest. The reenactors were superb, and so immersive it was spine tingling at times. (The less said about the Woodland camp site showers, the better. Easily the worst camp site showers I've ever used.)

Dandelions are one of the last flowers standing in the fall. Spray one with roundup and you're spraying every bumblebee queen that visits, just as she's preparing to hibernate.
The flower doesn't die on contact. It takes days, and it keeps getting visited the entire time. Bumblebee queens are feeding hard right now, building the fat reserves that have to carry them through months underground with no colony and no food. Every queen that doesn't fatten up is a colony that doesn't start next spring.
Research from Finland found glyphosate-exposed bumblebees lost the ability to tell flowers apart by color, and lost their sensitivity to the ultraviolet patterns bees use to find nectar.
Late solitary bees, hoverflies, and butterflies are working the same flowers too.
If the dandelions genuinely bother you, dig them out. A weeding fork gets the taproot.
Or leave them. The first hard frost takes care of it.
I'm attending my first @WeHaveWaysPod Fest next weekend. Printed the program to make a plan and there's an event called 'A Conversation with @ArthurBostrom' @almurray @James1940
