First day of school excitement! 158 ECD learners have flown our Pebbles nest and will start Grade R today. They will now join our After-School Clubs once they done school for the day where they will receive a cooked lunch meal, homework support and extra curricular activities.
Last weekend we were part of something very special thanks to South African award-winning land artist Strijdom van der Merwe and Global Nomadic Art Project and Yatoo Gnab.
The children enjoyed a nature-based land art workshop at Delaire Graff Estate. It was a beautiful day!
Wines2Whales 2023 is taking place in October. As an official charity partner, we have entries available for this one of a kind mountain bike race. 4 Rider Team entries (3 Standard tented Pinotage entries and 1 Shiraz entry) contact us to secure your entry #wines2whales
16 young adults based at our Hemel-en-Aarde Youth Development Centre recently completed their practical for general house keeping, waiter and barista training. So many amazing establishments hosted them so they could put their new skills to the test. Thank you!
#TestimonialTuesday today we highlight Nydene 💛 She says: “When I was a little girl, I would walk past the Pebbles ECD centre on the farm and dream of working inside the centre one day.” Read more: pebblesproject.org/wp-conten…
💜 GIRLS ROCK 💜 Thank you VirtualResource for gifting our teenage girls with sanitary hygiene care packs from Komani. An estimated 30% of South African girls do not attend school while they are on their period because they do not have sanitary products.
